"I'll develop some disease and say I have to resign."

You should care if you want to have an honest discussion.  If you're willing to accept that this virus was going to ravage the US no matter who was POTUS, then it becomes less about "it's all because of him" and more about China's criminal actions.  Under Barry, H1N1 was basically ignored for 5 months and infected tens of millions, but it wasn't nearly as bad as this and didn't ravage the US.  Meanwhile, remember all the models of millions of people dying from it?  Where has all the talk of those gone?

It did not have to ravage our country.  Trump lied about it and did not do enough to slow things down.  Your false comparisons to other theoretics don’t mean squat.  Obama was responsible for his actions in his administration, Trump in his.  Should we go go back to Buchanan screwing up slavery to absolve Trump in your eyes?  Where does it end?

At your job, if you do something wrong is it your responsibility, or is it the fault of the last guy who had the job, or someone who never had the job, or anyone else but yourself?

and to throw out another false construct, the millions of people dying was if we had done nothing to prevent disease transmission.  Thankfully we had folks like Dr. Birx and Fauci that folks listened to, instead of the Orange one.

I don’t care what Hillary would have done or not done.  I do not care what other elected leaders of other countries did.  I care what our elected president did and he blew it.  These “well, what about so and so” arguments are a better fit in a preschool playground.

I will say Operation Warp Spped was a good thing.

How about Cuomo, the idiot in New Jersey or Pennsylvania, the reject in Michigan, did they pass your sniff test? Your a ***** moron!

Cuomo screwed up putting back in nursing homes.  And again, what they did or did not do have no bearing on what Trump did. His decisions are on him.  It is astounding how many people will tie themselves in knots trying to defend a con man.

And I’d love to meet you outside the confines of a message board.  You act so tough here, but in reality I would guess you’re a sniveling little mama’s boy who acts out his fantasies of being a big guy with a big gun here.

And even  if you’re right, which I would debate, he will be 20 times better than the current occupant, who only cares about himself and could give a damn about the country.

It’s this type of over-emotional reaction that ensures we continue to get knuckleheads and people like Biden in the senate and White House.  “Only cares about himself....” so he ran for office, gained traction and presided over a roaring economy.  He encouraged repatriation of money long held off shore due to onerous taxation, cut through regulation and was rewarded for his patriotism by being branded treasonous.  When it became apparent the story was little more than tabloid fodder, you’d think folks that supported job creation and low unemployment but hated Trump would at least be grateful that fellow Americans had work.  Nope—not the Biden boys, to you, it’s overwrought angst and handwringing must resume.  Better to get back to Biden policies of old where the swamp prevailed and people knew their place.

Which brings us to today.  It’s obvious the mist is falling over Biden’s brain, where he’d once laugh off a misstep or inappropriate joke with a hearty laugh and a “Oh jeez, look at me” now supporters aren’t sure if it’s sarcasm, tongue in cheek or just an old guy rambling on.

I think the old man lost his way in this conversation—there’s nothing remotely funny or “tongue in cheek” about a serious illness to a major political figure—that’s why no one involved laughed it off.  Harris looked like she was responding to a patient with a head injury with that sympathetic nod.

He ran for office because he’s a narcissistic con man.  And he’s conned you and many others into some bizarre devotion.

Jesus—Cuomo only “screwed up”?

My God, he’s got the deaths of tens of thousands on his hands.  As I told you previously—- I’m no scientist, but I’ve known for decades that being around older people with a simple flu virus was dangerous for them.  I prayed the last 10 years I wouldn’t catch a cold before visiting my mom at Thanksgiving and she was a perfectly healthy 70+ year old woman.  Where the *&$# is your outrage over this a*holes actions?

And you’re correct, Trump isn’t Cuomo (he actually worked diligently to get Cuomo’s ass out if the frying pan), but it’s certainly possible to despise Trump and Cuomo as well.

I think Cuomo should lose his office just as Trump has.

I’ve come to the conclusion that you and those like you voted for the old days.  You could outwardly espouse progressive ideology while staying in your bubble.  When Biden ran his game on super predators, his alliance with Ted Kennedy and the good old boys network in the senate, it was perfectly ok with you—so you want more of that.   You can scream about women’s rights, but the truth is groping women and children is acceptable because Biden gives you cover, and they were disposable anyways.  Biden’s explanation that the victims simply misunderstood his intent when pawing them is classic victim blaming—and that works for you likely because you understand it.

Biden has old school approaches with his hugs and stuff that have with time been recognized as wrong and he has admitted he needed to change his ways.  Many of my generation have had to do the same.  We were wrong.  But a far cry from paying off porn stars and such and bragging about sexually abusing women which is what Trump has done.

As for voting for Biden, I would have voted for a ham sandwich over Trump.  And as for accusing me of being OK with groping women and children, as a father of two daughters here’s my answer:  Shove it.

This is classic enablement behavior because you enjoy the safety of a status quo politicians.

Joe Biden’s snuggly hair smelling with his body pressed firmly against any available flesh was never normal.  Never.  The liberties  Biden took would get his ass kicked in ANY normal scenario from either of our lives, or I’ve totally misjudged who you seem to be.  He’s the guy from the local plant in a position of authority that reaches in, pulls the wife close, rubs her shoulders (or worse) while whispering what he might do to her if she was of the mind.  He’s the judge who offers to look the other way on a ticket in exchange for certain considerations carried out in the secrecy of a dark hallway.

I was born in 1961, am the son of a woman who would jab a fingernail in that creepsters eye, married to a woman who would do the same, and raised my own daughter to recognize the power dynamic in play with this old douche.  I’m 100% certain you did the same, and how you can rationalize this behavior as anywhere approaching normal for that time is absurd.  Did it happen?   Of course it did,  but this is a far cry from normal behavior of that time, and honestly, I was taught the boundaries at a very early age.  If you were wrong and felt you had to apologize, that’s on you.  It may explain your rationalization that Biden’s behavior as a *&$#ing US Senator was “normal”.

Old school?  Baloney!  He does not get a pass for that when he is in the US Senate.  He is not some old guy living on the edge of town stuck in the 1940's with no one to set him straight.

Some libs would have us believe that Biden is on the same par with some guy who grew up 60 years on the edge of town and had no social contact to set him straight during the intervening years to today.
