He did a fair number of horror pictures including the Frankenstein series where he appeared as the creature 3 times. Nextmanup Posted November 30, 2020 Share Posted November 30, 2020 David Prowse was 6'6", wore heeled boots, and had that huge helmet on. He never came across on screen as being that gigantic. He certainly didn't look short (!) but the top of his helmet must have been somewhat close to 7 feet tall; he never looked THAT tall to me.
