But overall, this was a tremendous bounce back. His numbers would be even better if Benjamin and Foster didn't have a case of the dropsies. He managed the clock, he managed down and distance and he looked a lot more relaxed. That one may be a highlight that’s rare in part because only some can do it, but also because you’ve got to be smarter than doing it unless it’s late in a playoff game. That’s not to knock him too hard. No harm no foul and that’s what you hope for in the “learning moments.” Low cost, and occasional reward even. He slid and stayed inbounds to keep the clock running down to 2 min warning. However telling the ref a pass was a pass was nothing.....of course he knew it was a pass, they called a pass in the huddle and then he threw it. Kelly the Dog Posted September 23, 2018 Share Posted September 23, 2018 I loved the leap. I think it had a direct affect on the outcome of the game. He knew he needed those three yards. He took that chance at a moment that it really meant something. He's bigger than every running back in the league.
