The fact that we got rid of AJ and now Nate appears to be a train wreck could prove to be really lucky.

Why?  B/C we may HAVE to play Allen almost all season long, and get him going sooner than we otherwise would feel comfortable with.  In turn we will get a good long look at him.

If we truly end up with #1 pick next year, maybe another QB would not be out of the question.

Depends on many things, including Allen's development this year.

Omg why do we need to continue the narrative that the FO feels like they need TBD's approval to play a quarterback. You're saying we threw a game so the fans KNOW Peterman sucks? Sounds like we have some weak minded coaches.

Maybe that's not what you were getting at. But regardless you're saying we have coaches dumb enough to trot out Peterman and we got lucky he sucked so much. Thank God for that!

Can't prove that. They had all the leverage on Watkins with the franchise tag and paying Watkins would've been a good move given the **** show of receivers we currently have.

Dareus wasn't his 2014 self and appeared disinterested. Still a better player than Star and was a big asset in the stopping the run.

Glenn  had an injury plague season last season. He was generally healthy throughout his tenure in Buffalo and the offensive line would kill for him right now.

Anymore excuses you want to come up with for McBeane?

The franchise tag for a wide receiver was 16 mills we didn’t have leverage with Watkins, Cordy would have had a cap hit of 14 mil, and Darius was a 20 mil cap hit. We did not have the money.

Reading comprehension isn't strong with this one.

Watkins wasn't going to stay, and we weren't going to pay him what KC did.

Dareus was basically useless for the amount of money we were paying him.

Glenn couldn't stay healthy.

Darby is a head-scratcher. I don't know why they got rid of him. If read what the guy said, we had to get rid of some guys to get out of cap hell.

Darby was bad at zone and we picked up EJ Gaines in the Sammy trade making Darby expendable, so we used him to get a draft pick and a WR to replace Sammy.

Beane spent about 20 million on Star, murphy and Davis,, which is not looking like money well spent ..  left the team  short 1 corner . three o lineman and 2 starting wide receivers

It is hard to have a worst offseason

.

Hit the nail on the head. They had a chance to go get a real bridge QB and surround the offense with some talent IN CASE Allen needed to see the field.

Instead they sold themselves on Peterman and now Allen must see the field with absolute trash to play with.

Mcd just had to have his defensive lineman....this will blow up in their faces epically.

It’s not hard to understand, the team was in cap he’ll. Next year they will have a high draft pick and they will have cap room to get some FA players.
