RIP Tom Wolfe

Oh no way, RIP Tom.

I had an English teacher at OP that let me read The kandy-kolored tangerine-flake streamline baby as a junior, as an "approved biography."

Yeah, not so much. But I learned so much about the 60's and the culture. Amazing stories.

Tom Wolfe was incredibly insightful, and his writing was top notch.  Among my favorites are:  The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, Mauve Gloves & Madmen, Clutter & Vine, The Bonfire of the Vanities  , and A Man in Full.

I'd recommend all four to anyone searching for a good read.

RIP, Tom.

What movies cannot come close to achieving
