I had an English teacher at OP that let me read The kandy-kolored tangerine-flake streamline baby as a junior, as an "approved biography." Yeah, not so much. Among my favorites are: The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test, Mauve Gloves & Madmen, Clutter & Vine, The Bonfire of the Vanities , and A Man in Full.
