Based on his work with Stafford, I can't say I'd hate to see him on the staff. I'm finding it odd that the entire offensive staff outside of Rico has remained in place. Is that not the same thing they did to Rico? If you want a OC, who is very much going to be running his own offence, to succeed, should you not let him put a staff in place that aligns with his offensive strategy?

it's extremely odd and I expect Brian to make a few changes. QB coaches are worthless until you get a good qb.

I wonder if he takes a look at the QBs on the  jets roster, drops papers on the table and just says "I'm Out!" while walking out the door.......

As for the Bills, they don't have any openings right now, Dennison was the only one let go at this time

Do we know that the new OC wants a different staff, or that the staff in place would not be able to help him coach his offence? Some of these coaches aren't always locked into one certain type of scheme/method/way.

That's the only logical reason to retain the group, but it seems very unlikely that two opposing offensive philosophies would hold the same staff in place.

Maybe the reason why they hired him was because he didn't feel the need to replace the rest of the coaching staff? Do you really need to replace a WR coach because the team decided to change from a WCO to a power run offence or some other offence? Are position coaches locked into only being able to coach a certain type of offence to those players? I'm sure most position coaches can adapt enough that they don't have to be tossed away. Most get let go because the HC was fired and the new HC wants his own staff in place. You are also assuming that the OC and DC are in charge of the position coaches instead of the HC. How many other teams fired their OC and all the position coaches?

I may be focusing in on the Juan position coach that needs replacing.
