That was part of it but the run D was stout, and the secondary was a pleasant surprise. Now the secondary have to most of the tackles against the run!!

 

OL can't pass protect or run block. And on and on. The downfall is complete and across the board except special teams.

We still have to play the Chiefs then Brady twice in December. The defense is very concerning. What in the hell is Frazier/McDermott doing? This zone is not working in any way, shape, form. Why is Lorax still at LB? He should be helping the weak pass rush and not being a complete liability at LB. The best player on the DL is making his last lap under the white flag. The offense is a disaster all it's own. The need to purge from the old regime, the high and mighty throwing around of weight, has set us back further than any of us could have expected. To be 5-2 heading into that Jets game is a miracle in itself. After that the wheels have COMPLETELY come off. I probably won't waste another 3 hours on a Sunday the rest of this year. It's not worth it.
