Reading the comments... the swamp is deep...

Just this little comment thread (read the responses) shows how the same people pop-up all over (on both sides of the aisle):

That's why Manafort's conviction(s)/indictment is so key, what they're getting him for (aside from the bank fraud) is what half of K-Street and the lobbyist industry in DC has been doing for decades. It's a small universe and everyone knows and works with everyone over the course of their careers. Manafort's conviction put a lot of formerly "untouchables" in legal peril.

We tried to ask Devin Nunes, the ranking Republican, whether he voted to release the transcripts. “You guys are an embarrassment to yourselves,” he snorted as he walked onto an elevator.

He and all of the other Republicans voted to release the transcripts to executive branch in September. Mueller can get them if he wants them.

Republicans today also called on Dems to release unclassified transcripts to public.

In an extraordinary rebuke to his predecessor, House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) formally announced on Wednesday that his committee would be re-opening its Russia investigation to pick up on lines of inquiry that were left “uncompleted” by the committee investigation of the previous Congress, when Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) was the chair.

The move was somewhat expected, but still a remarkable reversal of the course the committee had charted under GOP leadership.

Of course Schiff's first move is to release transcripts to Mueller's probe and claim victory in doing so... while omitting that Nunes did the same thing months ago - and Schiff fought against it.

He's not a serious man, or politician. He's a hack. And he's likely looking at several felony leaking charges awaiting him under seal.

Oh, it's even better than that. Even though Nunes tried his best to run a shame investigation, he still got--by accident--to Trump's buddy to lie under oath. Busted!

Imagine what a real investigation will find
