Running backs expected to be taken between Rounds 4-7

i think there is a Conner thread ... it doesn't have Conner in the thread title though

Pat Elflein!

True. When the Pats signed TD Mike to the offer sheet, I started a thread titled "If the Bills lose Touchdown Mike...." and then made the case for drafting Conner. I think he'd be great value in the 4th or later as most sites have slotted him. At some point the Mods closed all threads that mentioned Gillislee in the title other than the one with 100+ pages. This has to be an NFL message board record for pages devoted to a backup RB, btw. I think Conner is a special player that remarkable things in his Pitt career. He will be a good pro, imo. A called him a 233 lb. Robb Riddick, who is one of my favorites.

This please: 140. (5.7) D'Onta Foreman, RB, Texas, 6-0, 235, 4.46 - Pro Day

Foreman is talented but his NFL career depends on him landing in the right spot. If he has a good to great line he will look awesome.

i go back and forth on him. I don't watch a lot of B12 but his stats are eye popping. I read his scouting reports and seems he has some limitations ..for those who bow down to Pats scouting they supposedly love him, BB flew down to Austin to work him out personally. I certainly wouldn't be displeased if he became a Bill. But, I like a lot of the RBs in this draft. Edited by YoloinOhio

I think Foreman is very talented. Needs to be motivated a bit to go 100%.

My guy is Jeremy McNichols.

Sad but inspiring story on Foreman.

Speaking exclusively to NFL Network's Andrea Kremer on NFL Total Access, Foreman revealed publicly for the first time the deep pain he felt after the death of his infant son and how his short life ultimately inspired the running back to have a remarkable junior season with the Texas Longhorns.

I will probably get crushed for this because of the person but I don't see an NFL back in Conner. He's a great guy and story for sure. I just see slow feet. I'm routing for the kid but think that we'd be better off elsewhere.

he actually quick and light on his feet.... He just doesn't have a second gear. Hes a 4.6 guy. Still fast

I'd take him late for a power scheme but I wouldn't touch him if I'm the Bills. Could be a solid committee back that can catch and pass protect.

Athletically limited in a great class but I can't help but hope the guy does something in the league.

There is a difference between 2014 and post chemo 2016 tape, imo. The Clemson game last year was closer to full recovery. He claimed in has letter that he was @ 18% body fat to start last year and is at 7% now.

Robb Riddick had a couple of great seaons as a 3rd down shotgun back and short yardage/goal line specialist. He had a punishing running style that agressively struck would be tacklers. He was probably closer to 200 lbs. I see Conner as being great in that role but @ 233 lbs.. I would bet he shows well as a blocker in much of the Peterman highlight tape.
