I just checked again, on NFL.com's schedule, and it's likely because the game is to be on Fox and the giants are playing. But why the heck are two AFC teams scheduled for Fox? What am I missing here? gflande1 Posted November 19, 2016 Share Posted November 19, 2016 (edited) The "cross flex" mechanism will serve a similar purpose. Select games can be flexed between CBS and FOX. In the past, a game with two NFC teams had to be on FOX and a game with two AFC teams had to be on CBS. Now, the league can theoretically move an all-NFC game to CBS or an all-AFC game to FOX in select cases. This will help balance out the television schedule, especially in a week where one network has all the most intriguing games. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000343369/article/2014-nfl-schedule-flex-games-can-now-start-in-week-5 Looks like new NFL flexing rules allows the NFL to show games on either network. Currently Syracuse CBS feed is showing Baltimore-Dallas, Fox channel will be showing the Giants-Chicago game. The NFL "cross flexes" some games between affiliates to help the networks show better double headers. Looks like you got boned so CBS could show Philly-Seattle to most of the country. Still, there's easily more Bills fans here in Syracuse, than NJ Giants fans. Dallas has the best record, prescott v romo story, comeback games. they're a fun team to watch right now. can't blame the NFL for knowing that.
