We should all wear biker gang jackets in support.

!@#$ that. Some of those men were shot down by TX police. We should send a message by breaking into Best Buy in our respective cities. Plus, a new TV will help to alleviate my outrage.

You're all acting crazy. Be more rational, like me. I'm being patient and waiting for the media to tell me what to think about this whole thing. When they tell me how mad I should be, I'll get back to you all and hopefully you'll follow my lead.

I am embarrassed this happened in my state.

I wouldn't be. What can you do? It could have happened anywhere. There was obviously some big beef brewing for a while. Anyway, like LABillz said, it's just another Thursday in Chicago.

Statistically, for the majority of accidents involving a car and a motorcycle, the driver of the car is, indeed, at fault.

I know there are a-hold bikers out there and I know that sometimes if feels like MOST bikers are a-hole bikers; but I believe most are responsible riders.

I wonder how the statistics line up for states that allow lane splitting. I was just in CA, and am shocked that there isn't a dead biker every few miles the way they skim the traffic lanes.

During research conducted by the National Highway Safety Administration (NHTSA) during 2003, it was found that in all motorcycle accidents occurring between motorcyclists and cars, the motorcyclist was either not at fault or less at fault than the other driver 80 percent of the time.

Doesn't break it down by state.

EDIT: Granted, this is from an attorney's website, but it shows that the CA stats are in line with national stats: http://www.richardandrews.com/PIAuto.asp

The vast majority of motorcycle accidents and serious injuries to motorcycle rider in California is NOT the motorcycle riders fault!! California motorcycle accident statistics show that about 80% of all California motorcycle acc

That data is a bit dubious, because it throws in less at fault (includes cases where motorcycle is passing a car making a left turn)

More data points

I don't lane split nearly as often as when I was younger. Just ain't worth it.

There are times when it's pretty unavoidable, though.

Well to prove we're not just a bunch of thugs, lets go steal a better one!

Painting up my sign now and on my way for this one. If I'm gonna loot it's going to be done right!
