I could see Setrakian allowing Palmer to be turned into a common strigoi, should the opportunity arise. Imagine Palmer's frustration at knowing that within hours, not only would he no longer wield the power he's had his whole life, but will soon become a mindless thrall under the Master's control. Really, really big picture. dev has it right - cattle. he made it, count on it. Nora was supposed to make it until the end of the series, and Bolivar until nearly the end. The crate didn't look very big, so if Dev's not right, I'd wager that it's the prison container they theorized had been built in ancient Egypt to contain the "living plague". Then again, it could be several hundred stylish fez hats for all I know. Those seem to pop up a lot in any show that deals in ancient Egyptian secrets - there's always that one mysterious guy wearing a fez that warms everyone about meddling with the ancients. Also the set up is all wrong, you wouldn't place live humans on a hook and send them around bend. You would place them in the machine from the get go and drain them there with multiple machines and not an a assembly track . Exactly. They might dispose of some of them this way, but a certain percentage will be kept alive and either farmed or used for other purposes. As far as the ship is concerned, I'm almost certain that they showed us what was on it in the last episode.
