I'm not kicking Anquan Boldin (49ers) or James Jones (Packers) out of bed for eating crackers. Boldin's more likely to re-sign, but he'd be a good 2-3 year contract, while a 4-5-year contract might interest the younger Jones, who's set to explore FA. What's the source of this rumour? I would NOT pick Lewan at 9...I would be fine with the other 2... All that said, if still prefer a FA at RT and LG. That needs to be clear here. Also as an aside , Astro ? You are saying that Boldin and Jones ARE eating crackers in your bed ? While you are typing. Thats gotta be pretty annoying . After what the Incognito situation has done to the Dolphins, neither the Bills nor any of the other top 15 teams picking in the draft are going anywhere near that guy in the 1st round. Section242 Posted February 17, 2014 Share Posted February 17, 2014 Mike Williams. DJ Fluker was drafted #11 and I credit him in a big way for getting his team to the playoffs. I think that with the new CBA we might be seeing more of this. Draft picks are just not that expensive any more. I'd give credit to Allen, a new offensive line coach, and a new head coach. Joeckel didn't make a difference and Fisher wasn't very good. I don't see any value in taking offensive line early. The game has evolved. T.J. Graham is horrible and played 70% of the snaps. We will hear it all at the combine this week, and if he has serious red flags that we don't know about yet then he won't even get drafted in the first round of the draft. Teams don't need charges or convictions to determine whether he's worth taking a risk on. You might as well cross Lewan off your list for the Bills because you generally don't see players with red flags taken with the #9 overall pick. I just think this team would be helped out so much by adding a dynamic LB. So no. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the idea of an OT in the first round. Yes, thank you for that As for that second sentance, that is just simply true, as Cam Newton had several more severe issues and was still drafted #1 overall. Getting kicked out of school for a run in with police over a stolen laptop, and he was also caught cheating on an exam, to name a few. Trust me when I said just about every player has some red flags, as young people tend to do stupid stuff. Lewan's issues are very minor compared to some. Never arrested, and charged with any crimes that I see. He had early anger issues while playing that he correct his senior year. Like I said, very minor.
