Four QB's and two kickers...

Recommended Posts

To start the season our roster was so complete and rich with depth that Chan could afford to keep two kickers and 3 QBs plus a QB/KR/WR.

Wouldn't these spots hae been better served by another OL and LB to develop.

You can not argue they needed the spots for ST's and OL can't play ST's. If Morrison was so bad that he could not dress for a single game and could not play ST's as a LB what the hell was he doing on the roster for 11 weeks???

I don't think having an extra postion player or two would have prevented injuries late int he season byt reducing wear and tera on the startes. But it would have given the staff time to develop a guard or a tackle or a MLB over the course of a season.

Horrible roster management.

Pigpen shoudl have been cut a long time ago. TJ could start this week if needed. Everyone knows that. Chan is just not activiating him so he doesn't have to answer question why he doesn't play if Fitz struggles.

I have no problems with nicknames like Capt. Checkdown. Edwards aptly deserved it.

But can we please stop calling people we don't know names like "Pigpen"? No reason for that. He's a backup--I've never even see him play in a regular season game in a Bills uni--and he's never done anything to you that I know of.

And no, everybody doesn't know if TJ can start this week. Unless you have a hidden camera at practice, you don't either.

Dude the Bills kept 9 offensive linemen. Everyone in the league kept either 8 or 9 offensive linemen. You're really grasping for straws here. Brad Smith is a WR for the Bills. They have 3 QB's just like everyone else. Lindell is 17 of 18 this season and they thought they could gain a field position edge by complimenting him w/ a kickoff specialist. It didn't work, so they cut the guy. We're talking about the 53rd position on the roster. Who cares if they kept and extra LB or S or whatever who never dressed anyway over John Potter? Let it go man. There is a lot wrong with this team, but this is just dumb.

What do you expect from a GM who got his "big break" at the age of 70 and and "offensive genius" head coach who nobody has been interested in for the past decade?

IMO Chan hasnt given TJax reps and has avoided activating him to side step a qb controversy

Conspiracy theories are fun

Sounds like you should apply for a NFL coaching job.

Thank you. Lame nicknames that have nothing to do with a player's play or personality, just weak nicknames whose only defining characteristic is that it happens to be a word, just provide for more clutter posts to have to sort past on this board.

And enough with the incessant claims that every backup on the roster is better than every starter, just spraying these claims all around the roster and in the rare time a backup does happen to progress to starter over someone, it's suddenly an indictment on management and supposed to make you look smart.

Where is Hamden starting? Or does the NFL consist of 32 GM's who cannot evaluate talent as well as you?
