Yes, even by it's appearance I'm am saying that I didn't start this thread.

I posted this story only once and embellished the veiled threat to his employees.

Ask the moderators who started it. I know I did not.

Typical of you jokers ... shoot the messanger

I posted the similar headline CEO to Workers: I May Fire You if Obama Wins

here's another link - this one from CNBC.

You didn't start this thread? Who's the dumb poster that did then?

I would go with: "I don't like Obama, and I want my 7000 employees to know their jobs may be at risk if he's reelected."

Well, yeah...but I was going with specifically the bull **** BF4E was spewing at us.

Dear Confused Tom

And "Republicans want to kill grandma."

What was it Princess Palin said....

it was either Obama will create Death Camps or Obama will create Death Panels

oh yes

In a Friday op-ed for the Wall Street Journal, Sarah Palin takes aim at a bipartisan commission's recent recommendations on reducing the deficit, calling its suggestions "a disappointment" and claiming that the plan "implicitly endorses the use of 'death panel'-like rationing."

Typical FEAR MONGERING

Yes, it is. Do you and your compatriots ever make arguments that aren't inane, fear-mongering hyperbole?

LOL

Just like:

"If that !@#$ Bush is re-elected, I am moving to Canada"- how many Liberals really moved?

"If ACA is upheld, I am leaving the country"- how many Conservatives left?

So the threat is he may close up his business and retire? Great, time to enjoy life, your earned it. Or, will it be the case the economny recovers and begin to be strong again, regardless of what suit is in the office, and all of the sudden he is making lotsa money again and changes his tune....

these stories are always fun to read.....

Welcome to the uncertainty in the economy for the last 3+ years.

Why do you think confidence is down? No rational business owner is going to stick his neck out while Obama keeps bashing the private sector and the rich. It's about time that people start acknowledging the obvious.

Like waiting for the recovery to start from the middle class out.

OK, take him and a couple of hundred thousand other bosses holding a similar sentiment, and you have a snapshot of the economy over the last 3.5 years.

What about this guy?

That pretty much sums up the view of most entrepreneurs. Even if they support Obama, they personally chafe at the suggestion that they're not the ones who built their businesses, or that he knows what's better for their businesses than they do.

Yeah, that's part of the problem. Wife and I have discussed New Zealand. Costa Rica's not entirely unappealing, either.

NZ is nice but it's a long way away. Wifey lived in Europe for several years and would go back in a minute but since they are even more !@#$ed up than we are that's not bloody likely.

I dig Steve Wynn. How many men can say they are bailing on a multi-billion dollar project that would hire thousands of people because "I have no idea what goofy idea, what crazy, anti-business program this administration will come up."

Yes, he embellishes like most, but the dude is standing up and saying what many other business owners refuse to say for fear of having the IRS shoved up their ass...and I think everyone knows this administration does not thing TWICE about aggressively attacking those who speak out against them.

Dear Confused Tom. Telling a truth is not fear mongering. Death Panels were clearly false, Socialism claims also false, Muslim claim - yes false.

The chances of this being true?
