Where does that say SJ is listed as doubtful?

GO BILLS!!!

Read my post carefully, "But Johnson is not listed as doubtful here." :)

The NFL injury report we page does not show what the post is saying, and neither does the Bills web page.

If will be interesting to see if the post is correct or not.

Sorry about that. I responded under the wrong post.

I scanned the page & uploaded the image. See for yourself.

Thanks for going through the trouble. I find it interesting that the NY Post would have the game statuses of injured players before the NFL listed them but who knows?

The NFL updated his status as of yesterday and he was listed by them as "Questionable", as was Brad Smith. The NY Post is simply in error. Maybe they were pulling their own groins when they wrote it up.

This is the injury report for week 1 on NFL.com. Is there another place they list this stuff? I can't find it.

You do know that anyone that does not practice or is limited at practice is listed as Questionable by the NFL, unless otherwise reported differently by the team. They don't have it updated under "Game Status", but other sports sites take the updates from the NFL and update their own. CBS Sportsline for example has a really good synopsis of all teams on their NFL sub page. See link: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/injuries

Bad news. According to Buscalia Stevie did not practice today, and is currently on a stationary bike.

Here is BB.com's report on this too

I think its safe to say we need to start planning for Revis WITHOUT Stevie Johnson. Ugh. Does not look good to me.

We'll have to rely on our running backs on this one.

I don't know that's the case, actually. Official game statuses aren't made until Friday and there's a good reason for that. It appears that every fantasy sight out there does assume a questionable status for any player listed on the practice reports and I can understand that. I would certainly question the status of any player listed on the practice report. Anyway, thanks for the insight.

It says he was on the bike when the media was allowed in--doesn't mean he didn't practice before they got there, at least from what I can tell.

Bills top WR Stevie Johnson is not practicing today after being limited in practice Wednesday.

I don't know but that sounds pretty clear to me that SJ didn't practice today.

No worries. I like to get it right too. At the end of the day, the NFL really doesn't do any enforcement of the Probably/Questionable/Doubtful nominations, so it really doesn't matter. As someone else said earlier, it seems that Brady has been on the injury report pretty much every game coming back from his injury. It doesn't really mean anything. The good news is that the Bills coaching staff are saying that they expect he will be 100% and ready to play on Sunday. That's good enough for me!

That's good enough for me too. Even if he's at 90%, it will force the Jets to stick Revis on him and we can beat Cromartie and their 3rd cornerback.
