plenzmd1 Posted August 31, 2012 Share Posted August 31, 2012 The Lions announcers had an interesting story last night on how the Lions do cuts. The highest levels do the cutting, they explain the reasons, where tha payer stands in terms of CBA status , etc. They let guys know if they are interested or not in bring them back on the PS if they are eligible.. They also do an exit physical on all players.. In all, think they said a seven page process.. Goal is to have a guy leave with the best possible taste in his mouth, as well have as much info as they can if they want to bring the player back at a later date.. Sounded like a smart idea to me.
