How much will you give? A token amount for self satisfaction purposes or something meaningful?

I believe Fergie meant disposable emotional income.  He heard about it on NPR’s hard hitting community program called “The Happening”.  Right now he’s trying to decide between “purely positive vibes” and “love buffins for the late night crew”.

She talks about covering "championships" - NPR never used to cover sports.  Now they spend 8-10 minutes a day between 7-8am (1/6th of the prime time hour!) reporting on local sports.  This is not what NPR has been for the past 40 years, but the liberal narrative has spun out so hard they are trying to pull listeners back in with a form of bread and circus that was deemed uncouth just a couple of years ago by the NPR listener base.

No matter how you feel about the orange menace, the Trump phenomenon is something we won't see again in our lifetime.  His existence will indirectly change the world we live in.  In this case of transforming NPR, maybe for the better.

Three stations on the car radio. WGR (sports) WBEN (talk and news) and 97 rock. And sometimes podcasts from my iPhone

I enjoy listening to NPR weekday news and hearing the liberal viewpoint on current topics.  Understanding the liberal viewpoint is another ball of wax altogether.

The weekend NPR programming is completely unlistenable now.  Car Talk went poof and so did my attention.
