Solomon Grundy
anyone down for taking McElroy in the 6th UticaClub, that's who I see the Bills taking as well. He's accurate, has pocket presence and was a leader of a successful SEC team. Buddy and staff is doing a great job drafting.
Guest three3
i'd bring him in as a udfa only
uticaclub
thanks, skycap if he's still on the board even in the 5th what harm is there in drafting him there. The guy knows how to win and won't have to start right away. Plus, he lives in Texas and has bubble hockey in his living room.
NoSaint
Winner, smart, would likely be a very reliable backup. I like it a lot. At this point your not looking for a franchise qb, your looking for Greg McElroy.
chris heff
I say yes, remember they cut Brown last year, so they don't love him. Take McElroy and sign a vet back up.
ajzepp
Only QB I want to see us draft from this point forward is Tyrod...Tyrod is the MAN!!!
RyanC883
Yes. We need competition for backup QB. Kid is a Rhode Scholar finalist and a winner at every level. I also like the idea of trying to trade (when teams are allowed to) for Dixon from the Steelers.
fishiewishie
5th or 6th round pick. Smart and a winner at every level... I think he is the best quarterback still on the board.
ndirish1978
Pass. He was the worst QB in the North South game. Chan had a good look at him and I don't see us taking him.
drewfla
7TH because we won't have UDFA's till the lockout is over. He is smart and a good backup to be another coach for Fitz.

1B4IDie
I'm calling Romeaus or Herzlich with the first 7th McElroy with second 7th- The wonderlic twins will unite to form the highest QB wonderlic score in NFL history
ACor58
Why not take McElroy now? He is better than any backup garbage that we have right now.
1billsfan
McElroy couldn't have found a better spot to land than in the New York area. This guy's going to retire after five or so years as a backup and become an NFL media star as a commentator/analyst. Dude's so polished and relaxed in front of the camera. McElroy and Jessie Palmer on ESPN College Gameday. McElroy seems like a 10 year studio host vet in front of the camera guy is a natural. Edited April 30, 2011 by Why So Serious?
