According to PFT, both the 49ers and Seahawks "like" Edwards. Chris Mortensen lists the Panthers, Jaguars, Chiefs, and Jets as other teams that could have interest. It's important to note that waiver priority will be determined by team's 2009 records.

Hope the Jets pick him up so we will have a chance of beating them if Sanchex gets knocked out.

What is there to like? They will find out soon enough what he is...

Sometimes both the guy and the team need a change of scenery to get back on track. I hope Trent has a long career in the NFL and this move gets the Bills one step closer to finding their QB of the future.

I wouldn't put it past Rex Ryan to sign Edwards for a week, then release him after Sunday's game - Ryan did a similar thing with Kevin O'Connell the week before the Jets faced NE* last season...

Last year, the New York Jets signed Patriots washout Kevin O'Connell just days after the 2008 third-rounder was released by New England. The Jets' primary aim wasn't hard to figure out - pump the former quarterback for information about the Pats' offense. And his role was vital enough for the Jets to actually make him a captain for their game against the Pats on September 20, 2009.

Jets may have upper hand over Patriots because of backup Kevin O'Connell

The Jets are a possibility for a one-week gig, only because we play them this Sunday. My guess is Trent ends up on 'Team Dakota'.
