Did ANYONE in the media call out Jauron for pussing out again? I did not listen to any of the post game. I wish someone would just flat out say Jr Coach, what does that tell your team when they fight all day long and you don't even give them a chance to win it in the end?

And that is fine with me. I very quietly stood up and just said..well, that's all I need to see. I can't stomach this coaching anymore. This guy is bringing this whole team down and it's just a shame. Anyone thinking NE was going down better think again. Jets are only getting better each week and here we are. There is a pretty good group of guys on this team just WAITING for someone to teach them how to win. I really think a loss in miami ends the Jauron era.

until NE loses two in a row, I would not bet against them either.........................It's been YEARS

That very well could be two division winners in 2 years to play in Toronto. As if Buffalo can just afford to give away crucial division games. Oh well, thems the breaks. I think that if the Bills can pull off an upset against the Saints, it's on for the division. It should be playoff atmosphere if they can keep it close for this one. Buffalo let a golden opportunity slip through their hands in week one and that will be but a distant memory if week 3 is a W. This is a perfect opportunity to show that they WILL be contending for a division title. It's just too bad that Jets get the Totonto break. They better not dream of putting NE there next year......

The only way I have been able to get past that Pats loss is because I was telling myself someone good will come out of it. Let's just hope this the lesson was learned and will win more games in the end

Assuming these guys can mentally get past that loss (good thing it was week one), they SHOULD have the attitude of being able to hang with anyone on their schedule. If they had won that game, I would have been happy with a 3-0 win over Tampa. Now, I am really banking on them to put a hurting on the Bucs. For me to FULLY get back into a really good feeling about this team (2:06 to go on Monday), I want to see dominance on Sunday. Then and only then will I feel that this team is heading in the right direction and allow myself to think playoffs. Sunday might not look like a big test as far as opponents go but it will certainly tell me a lot about their confidence going forward. I wanted nothing more than to see that team come out of the tunnel after a Pats victory but that's the way it crumbles. BRING IT all day long players and fans alike!!!

I don't consider it a moral victory. I consider it a great thing that we actually have an o line, a QB and a coordinator. There is a big difference in how a fan perceives the game and how a player perceives the game. I would NEVER want a player to consider this a good loss. As a fan, thank God this team is not as bad as everyone was predicting. I have seen far too many heartbreaking losses to ruin my day again...just won't do it You can either get busy living or get busy dying. I will get busy living for a great tailgate on Sunday!

You gave me the one thing that I wanted and that was hope that this team is heading in the right direction. Looks like Trent has his confidence back, O line was great for game 1 and I loved the plays by AVP. Heck, I would not mind if AVP took over as head coach for the remainder of the season, called the plays and hired his own D Coordinator (if he did not want Fewell). Is to keep it close enough where there will be some good feelings going into the home opener. I REALLY don't want to have that first tailgate after a slaughtering. I have a feeling it won't take long for the crowd to turn nasty if it's a slow start after a beatdown tonight. Jauron, please just throw anything and everything you can (regarding the defense) at the Pats tonight. Safeties and DEs have to have a monster game tonight to give us a chance tonight.

Pitt, San Diego, NE and Tenn or Indy have their Divisions wrapped up already That leaves two spots for most likely Balt or Tenn/Indy Can the Bills get a better record than Balt? I see Balt with 9 wins MAYBE 10 Can the Bills eek out a similar record? I think 9-7 gets a wild card this year so I suppose with all the doom and gloom going on, things might not be as bad as they look. Trent, Trent and Trent will obviously be the deciding factor. Maybe things are not quite as bad as people would like to think. Hey, if we can't talk playoffs now, when can we? We are stuck with Jauron one more season so these guys are just going to have overcome his weakness. Bring it on
