  1. I hope your right. I hope we add the Bills to that list as well. Only time will tell and you never know when what is going to happen when a franchise QB is staring at you in the face and there are some questions surrounding your starter.
  2. Wow, take a step back their buddy. The only real argument you have here is the Bucs. You think the QB of the future for Miami is Pennington...uhhhhh OK. You don't think the Jags would take a shot at a potential Franchise QB if they had the chance. The Chiefs are not even sure if Cassel is going to be the starter as of last week.. Looks like the Vikes are really sold on Sage...ummm, no. Panthers are going to need a successor. The others you admitted as a possibility and the Bucs I admitted as wrong. Is it still all that funny?
  3. Actually, you need to re-read the original post...the grouping of teams I had was not to say they are of equal talent but of equal need for a QB. That is why Denver and Buffalo are together.
  4. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/...-miss-week-one/ love it
  5. Now that is the answer I was looking for - nice work!! looks like a win win situation this year folks!!
  6. Like I said - for arguments sake. I don't think it is too far fetched to think that there are going to be some MAJOR changes if this team does not make strides this year. I thought it would be an interesting topic with some what ifs in there. I am REALLY trying to be as positive about this season as possible and I can assure you, this has NOTHING to do with pre-season games.
  7. I think I have my eye on McCoy. I was thinking Tebow was the wildcard here. Aren't many people saying that he is the big question mark for NFL ready play. Either way, I will be watching QBs very closely this year on the college level.
  8. Dolphins Browns Jags Broncos Chiefs Redskins Vikings Panthers Bucs Rams Bills Out of these teams, which do you think will finish worse than the Bills? I would say Dolphins, Browns, Jags, Chiefs and maybe Rams and Tampa (Depending on our home opener). Now, I really am hoping for the best this season but i am having a hard time getting past our coaching staff and GM (or lack there of). How many top flight QBs are coming out of the draft this year (I pray this won't even be a concern in 20 weeks). I'm just sayin'....if there is a new coaching staff and Edwards does not pull through this, it is very possible that QB could be taken with a top 10 pick. What would the best options be and who would you hope for? The verdict is still out on Edwards so this is just something to get the wheels turning until season starts
  9. Get a real GM and your wish will come true (except owner)
  10. I don't know enough about GMs out there right now but I do know that you have to have a solid football mind to do the job. I would place those responsibilities in Cowhers hand any day of the week.
  11. That would get this organization back on track. You can talk about the players and the coaches all you want but until there is a legitimate football GM in this city, the coaching and the players will always be 2nd rate. Get a GM in here who can find that missing coach and who can stop whiffing on so many drafts. I think we all know that is impossible to point the finger in ONE direction. Problems exist here from top to bottom and the Owner is not changing. That leaves us to the GM position..... Someone had mentioned that Bill Cowher was interested in being a GM not a coach when he comes back. Talk about the silver bullet that cures all. Now, the chance of that happening may be slim but that is exactly what the mind frame has to be if this season goes down the drain again.
  12. For some reason, I could really see a guy like Shanahan coming here. He seems like the type of personality Wilson could adapt to (if Ralph wanted to spend)
  13. 6-9 with Indy game left. Indy starters = 6-10
  14. The offense will hopefully never look that bad again but this defense is totally lost on the coaching and players side. The Defense is going to be what kills this team every single week and nothing is going to change until you get a coach in here who has a clue on how to win. Hopefully this offense will continue to grow but this defense looks like it has been stuck for quite some time. Between the LBs and DEs, how does this team stand a chance? Does Mitchell even play on this team anymore?
  15. I wish we at least had one DE. What a total joke 94 is. Honestly, the best thing that could happen this year is new coach and very possibly a new QB in the draft. With this schedule, it will most likely be 4-6 wins. That should be bad enough to grab a pretty decent QB if Trent continues to go backwards in his development.
  16. Assume this guy is not even on the team and it will be a lot easier.
  17. This is where that garbage came from - someone posted this on facebook http://www.radaronline.com/exclusives/2009...n-buffalo-bills
  18. Jauron has got to be the only coach in the NFL that would have such a lame response....sheesh
  19. It looks as though they don't have the elastic sleeves. Is that the case on the stitched ones as well? I got a throwback Owens from DHgate and am very satisfied. I would have to have the elastic though.....
  20. Just announced on WGR that they are coming out tonight
  21. aren't they busting these out at practice today or tomorrow?
  22. I really loved how old school that gravel was...every time out of towners came in, they could not believe the look of the lot. It was perfect for the atmosphere! Just don't mess with the location of Pole #1 or my Tshirts this year won't cut it.
  23. Then, players are let go and more holes are created by the following year. Let's assume that the pieces most of us believe work now on this team are here to stay for next year. Let's also assume that they do not take a step back this year. What ARE the true holes as we know it on this team? Probably left tackle, one LB and another defensive end? I believe that McCargo is going to be a pleasant surprise this year. I also believe that this line will have good times and bad but will be fine for the 2nd half of the season. Now what holes will be created at the end of the season and will 2010 REALLY be the year this team breaks away from the pack? If all the planets align this year and the young guns (line, TE and DE) shine, no reason an exciting season couldnot unfold. Even though it's only game one, I believe we will all see a brand new attitude brought to the field win, lose or draw. This team is close and Jauron better realize that he HAS the talent for a top 5 offense!!
  24. I tried this about a month ago and it fizzled pretty quickly around here. I am still on board though - big time!
  25. Thanks for the info..love it. As far as the jersey thing, I gotta tell ya, I would rather have the $35 china thing with sewn on numbers and name than spend $80 at the Bills store for a screen print. I still cannot believe they sell those things. I can't tell the difference but ehh, to each their own.
