  1. I'll try to make this quick....I seem to be the contact person here in Buffalo to find out the best route to find investor information for the Buffalo Bills. I am close to the person who is inquiring and I figure that Jim Kelly would be the best guy to call. Do you think he would be the ringleader or do you have other suggestions. I don't know much about this process but this is very legit in the event the Bills are ever sold. I know Jim Kelly had mentioned he rounded up some investors so that is why I thought he would be the best lead. Obviously I will not mention the name of this person but I can say that he is one of the most respected hedge fund managers in the U.S. He would not be going in solo. It's proabably a one in a million shot but I'll help in any process that could help keep this team here. Feel free to pm if you do not want to mention names on here. Thanks for any help
  2. I will go the thumper route on this one but I would be lying if I said I didn't laugh out loud with a few of these responses.
  3. I hope the Bills org REALLY steps it up and delivers a tremendous tribute to Tim Russert for the opener.
  4. I am 37 and have been attending Sabres and Bills games since I was about 10 years old. This has been the first off season for both teams (and there are still 3 months left) where the waiting has been killing me. It seems like FOREVER since Sabres or Bills have played. What I can't understand is that my passion for these teams gets stronger every year. I am afraid that I won't make it to 40 if this keeps up!! I figured this would get easier as I got older but it turns out to be the complete opposite. The best part is that I would have it no other way!! I would love a championship and some day it will happen. Until then, I will continue to enjoy each and every season. Can't wait to tip one back for Timmy on opening day!!
  5. I can't remember the last time I have been taken back by such news. Very sad
  6. I don't think he would have gone to jail if he had just confessed the next day. I believe that his punishment will be worse as this lingers. Someone WILL start talking - they always do
  7. All his silence is doing is making him out to be a total loser. Nice work Lynch, the police are having a field day airing your dirty laundry right now. Hope it was worth it!!
  8. I say cut him - left tackles are a dime a dozen. Heck, even Peters was transformed from TE to LT. Just grab one of our extra TEs and do the same thing.
  9. I don't believe anybody thinks these guys are angels but I think I know where you are saying. This team was really building some positive mojo and to have this happen just slaps you right back into reality. REALLY REALLY STUPID move by Lynch. He will still get all the standing Os in the stadium but I don't think I'll ever think of him the same way again....too bad.
  10. I like the theme based ideas alternating around the different teams - It does not even have to be food related - any suggestions Example - burning different shaped logos made out of wood
  11. I think I am liking the deep-fried turkey!! Looks like that will be the opener tradition from here on out.
  12. Pig roast is definitely a fan favorite but probably not looking to expend quite that much energy. I would definitely like to start up a new tradition for the opener that can be passed on to my son so MAYBE that would work for the Seattle game.
  13. I have been attending Bills games since I was 10 years old and have always gone with my Dad and his crew as they set up the Grill, cook the food and take care of everything else that is involved. Now, the torch has been passed to me and I look forward to putting in all the sweat as they get to enjoy the lounging. I would hope that after 27 years of attending, I can do it justice!! Aside from the obvious necessities, anyone have some unique suggestions that has taken their gate up a notch over the years?? And yes, I am ready from some pretty off the wall (or should I say ON the wall suggestions) Thanks, Baumer
  14. Don't you grow the playoff beard DURING the Playoffs?
  15. Unless Cleveland wins the division, they are not going to make the playoffs. Their schedule is absolutely BRUTAL!!!!!
  16. I agree, there are some holes, but there are not any of those HUGE ones that you could see from a mile away. It is about time this team got to a point where they now work with some tweaks and minor upgrades from here on out. It will be interesting to see which TE will take the lead.
  17. No doubt they have to lock Evans up. Hopefully the addition of Hardy and the direction of this team will go a long way. Would have loved to have seen the top flight TE but that will have to wait until next year. Next years draft could focus on that TE and just keep upgrading those lines!!!
  18. This team is young enough and talented enough and it is great that most of their holes have been filled. I would say they are one year away from making some noise in the playoffs and accomplishing that for the next few years. They have a very good shot at sneaking into the playoffs this year and it should be a solid campaign. The Bills are FINALLY in a position where they can replace the one or two free agent departures (a couple years from now) with other free agents and draft. It does not look like there are any seasons coming up in the next 3 years where you will see numerous holes in this team. No longer are they treading water and I, for one, am looking forward to these guys competing with just about ANYONE in the league. Don't forget about those last second free agent gems that are let go in August. A few smaller holes could still be plugged!!
  19. I don't think there was much more to the story other than Ralph saying something like " Marv, we need to stamp your face on this organization before the whole thing goes up in flames. You don't really have to do anything other than those NAC commercials. People around these parts love you and this will take the heat away from me for a little while until we right this ship."
  20. The best part about our seats is that we don't even upgrade anymore as we don't think there is a better one in the house!!!! Season ticket holder since day one at Rock pile!! Whoohoo!!
  21. I know some teams will be better than expected and vice versa but I think it is fairly safe to say that IF NE wins the division (which looks likely) the Bills have a much better shot to get that wild card. I love this schedule LOVE!! Guarantee that NE game at the end will mean nothing for them - look at their schedule....
  22. If the Falcons actually had a good team, they could finish around 14-2 with that joke of a schedule
