  1. Is to keep it close enough where there will be some good feelings going into the home opener. I REALLY don't want to have that first tailgate after a slaughtering. I have a feeling it won't take long for the crowd to turn nasty if it's a slow start after a beatdown tonight. Jauron, please just throw anything and everything you can (regarding the defense) at the Pats tonight. Safeties and DEs have to have a monster game tonight to give us a chance tonight.
  2. Just trying to start something other than how God awful this team is.....so much for creating any optimism or for arguments sake posts............ Back to the normally scheduled programming............ Dick Jauron is horrible The Patriots will win 52-3 team is being moved etc, etc, etc
  3. Wow, I guess we'll never try and predict anything on a message board.......I forgot that we only post fact on here
  4. so who out of those teams won't be winning their division?
  5. Pitt, San Diego, NE and Tenn or Indy have their Divisions wrapped up already That leaves two spots for most likely Balt or Tenn/Indy Can the Bills get a better record than Balt? I see Balt with 9 wins MAYBE 10 Can the Bills eek out a similar record? I think 9-7 gets a wild card this year so I suppose with all the doom and gloom going on, things might not be as bad as they look. Trent, Trent and Trent will obviously be the deciding factor. Maybe things are not quite as bad as people would like to think. Hey, if we can't talk playoffs now, when can we? We are stuck with Jauron one more season so these guys are just going to have overcome his weakness. Bring it on
  6. This is what is most disturbing to me............... The following coaches are now out of the NFL: Tony Dungy, Mike Shanahan, Bill Cowher, Mike Holmgren and Marty Schottenheimer. Combined record: 4,512-175 (approximate). Meanwhile, the following coaches are still in the NFL: Dick Jauron, Brad Childress, Tom Cable, Wade Phillips. Combined record: 109-978 (approximate).
  7. I really hope Trent is the guy because I would love a shot at another stud DE or DT
  8. The best part about these last minute changes is that most people thought we were going to get slaughtered before they happened. Now, confusion is plentiful and this team might just MIGHT back themselves into something totally unexpected. Bills have a good year -GREAT! Bills Nose dive - Jauron is gone Win win - enjoy the tailgates and hope that we are around 500 by December (I know, not likely). All there is...is hope at this point. This team is so full of question marks that NOBODY has a clue as to what will happen..
  9. The more change, the better. I have no reason to think they will be better but all we can do is hope. Hopefully something is in the works
  10. I love that they have acknowledged there is a big problem but I think this is like pulling up a weed short of the root. It will just keep growing back until the main problem is addressed. Well done though, it's a start.............
  11. Bills keep it close in the first half against Pats and then.......ohhhhhhh Bills will finish with 4-6 wins Jauron gets canned at season end Shannahan, Chucky, Holmgren or Schottenheimer come here and draft their future QB in top 10 pick Bills fan rejoice as the ship is finally pointed in the right direction Ralph is given a standing ovation (even though he has passed) when the Bills win SB in 2013!! Jim Kelly (part owner) and many former Bills join in celebration on field
  12. I just don't think Ralph has the luxury or time to give the job to someone unproven as a head coach. I am going to quietly put the vibe out for Schottenheimer or Shanahan. Cowher will demand way too much (control and $) for Ralph to consider.
  13. It has been fine with life outside of football. I guess that certain things just become oh so obvious and pretty much laughable. My outlook on the Bills is certainly not one of anger..just one that I won't let bother me this year. You could even say that I am looking at this season as one big positive if it gives the organization a chance to start over once and for all. I will enjoy the gatherings for pre-game and just hope things fix themselves in the end.
  14. No way a coach on our staff already can turn this group around in one season. These guys are set up for failure and it's a shame TO could not have come in next year.
  15. With each passing week (especially this past games comments), it seems as though Jauron realizes how far away this team is to being successful. I really do not think he lasts past week 4. This defense is in the wrong scheme, there is ZERO ability at QB and it just dominos from there. Wow, I mean WOW, what the heck has happened to these guys. The mental makeup on this team has been squashed and the confidence has been shot from coaching to players. Let's face it, 2-4 wins is going to GOOD for this organization. Let's enjoy the tailgating and suck it up for ONE more year until a new coach and QB comes in here. Ralph has got to see how bad it is bottomed out and it's a perfect opportunity to get a top coach to draft his own QB. What else could a coach want!! This is going to be THE perfect year to hit rock bottom.
  16. Sanchez looked pretty darn good last night which leads me to believe that the Bills MUST grab a top QB coming up next year. I think those are two more wins that the Bills won't get bringing my prediction down to 4-12. There is no way Bills are scoring enough on Jets D and if Sanchez keeps getting better, it just gives me more hope that maybe this team CAN be turned around in one season. New Coach to pick his QB and bam.........ya never know
  17. Maybe now we can start discussing which QB would be the best fit here............................
  18. Nothing made me happier all night than missing that field goal with 3 minutes to go. It serves Asst Coach Jauron right to try and avoid a shutout than give this team some confidence. He succeeded in failing on both fronts...go get em buddy
  19. 8 out of the 12 teams that made the playoffs last year were the healthiest teams...it's gotta tell ya something...wow
  20. Still have mine as well. I don't think I ever wore them......might have to try those bad boys for the opener. I have not looked at those in years! I just held on to them because they were from the Super Bowl years. Let me try and dig them out and if I find them, you can have them.
  21. Which is exactly why I stated "for arguments sake" in the beginning. There are going to be 3 top flight QBs going within the first 15 picks and I am trying to figure out if the Bills will be in position to grab one of the top 2 if need be.
