I'm telling you.....there is something about this team!!!

The crowd has been a HUGE factor this year and THAT is my favorite part of the day. I can't remember the last time (well Dallas) that the crowd has been so fired up. There is nothing better than being a part of that and even ONE game less in that atmosphere is one too many.

It really is too bad that out of all seasons, they had to take away a home game this year. These Sundays have been such a blast and to think that I will be on the couch instead of hosting a tailgate is hard to swallow. I hope the Toronto folks won't be sitting on their hands all day. On a side note, Whitner is just an awesome leader on this team!! He better stay a Bill till the end...

Every single AFC team has a weakness right now - every single game is winnable

The fact that the Bills still won that game IN Jacksonville after playing their B game speaks volumes. There was some shaky tackling and our dominant special teams were not even a factor. I don't think many teams would be able to beat the Jags in their home when not playing their best. I have already altered my way of thinking when this team is down in the 4th. It is similar to that feeling (2 years ago) when the Sabres would be down 2 goals and you still had faith. The confidence that is building in that Locker Room is essential and they are only going to get better. Confidence in the fans just makes it that much more fun for the ride!

Who cares. Why would you want the attention to begin with? The last thing this team needs is to be in the spotlight. Let the Jets get all the media hype....

That, I think, will be the key to the season. Their confidence seems to be at a 10 year high and they have to translate that into closing out games against teams they are beating in the 4th quarter.

Their 2 best receivers, starting right tackle AND one of their best D Tackles all missing Game 1. If there was ever a time to pounce on an opening game, this is it. Not until today did I actually feel that it would be a HUGE upset if the Bills lost this game. I don't think the Bills will ever be behind from start to finish and the crowd is going to be a factor until the final second has ticked. 27-13

Peters can rot in Hell on some other team for all I care. Anyone who messes with their teamates like this is a joke. I would sooner have him traded than cause anymore distraction around here...See Ya!! He is officially the biggest ME Guy on this team and those are the ones I lose respect for the fastest.

I can't believe someone actually took the time to analyze that meaningless game where 21 out of 22 starters sat. I can't believe I just wasted my time typing this.....

And how could I forget the best amenity of all...The menu will be written on a dry erase board in honor of Tim Russert!!!

As the tailgate duties have been passed to the next generation, I wanted to make sure that we hit the Opener running. My Dad and his buddies have been responsible since the Rock Pile days and now the torch has been passed. Food - Pulled BBQ Chicken Sandwiches....I got those baskets that you fill up with charcoal so the chicken will be grilled with non direct heat. The chicken will be marinating in Sweet Baby Rays and Onion the night before (crock pot). Some sides will be pounds of shrimp, wheat thins with Nances spicy mustard and logs of pepperoni. The obvious chips and Bison Dip. Wives are bringing vegetable platters and homemade crab dip. Beverage - plenty of beer and a gas powered blender for the ladies who want the slush drinks. Big vat of bloody mary Amenities - Bills flags, American Flag, bottle opener with Monday Night Theme, 2 Bills helmets, T Shirts - these things are incredible. They are white champion ringers (white shirt with crimson red ringer). On front chest pocket is standing Buffalo helmet. Above helmet "The Tradition Continues" beneath helmet "Pole #1". On the back is "Tailgating at the Ralph Continues" big charging Buffalo logo below that. Below that are the names of 4 guys taking over tailgate and below that are the last names of founding fathers (tailgaters). In between the two sets of names is the old white helmet with charging Buffalo. These things are MAGNIFICENT!!!!!

If Edwards would have played this Sunday, he would have broken his leg and BOOM - out for the season - THERE, blessing in disguise. It's all good!

Both of these remind me of a horrible regime in Buffalo Bills history. Yea, I know, Jp is a great guy and has handled the whole situation like a true professional. I don't disagree but we should have brought in a veteran QB months ago and let JP try to prove his worth elsewhere. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that if Edwards ever goes down, the season is shot. Peters......hurry up you S.O.B. No link - I have a buddy in St. Louis who mentioned it to me yesterday. He is not the biggest Rams fan so that is why I was wondering if anyone else heard rumblings of this.

I don't know if anyone will read this since it reads I have under 100 posts but....did anyone hear or read that Steven Jackson was getting fed up with his agent. ps - I have been a member since 2005 but had to send last computer back to previous company....So now you have to read it!!!
