  1. In this situation one of the best players at #3 is a CB. If the Bills believe that CB can be a shutdown corner like a Revis, Woodson or Bailey then that could help the run. The fact you can single up on your opponents best wr may mean that you can put 8 men up front. This may be a case when best player can also help fulfill need. In the Super Bowl last Sunday the Steelers running game was spotty until Woodson went down. 3 points before his injury and 22 after.
  2. If memory serves correct, Rich did lead the charge to get MLB in Buffalo. He put together a more aggressive plan than Denver did but MLB determined that Colorado was a better market for the long term. It was at the time "Pilot Field" was built.
  3. I think a better way to ask the question is, " If you have the chance to draft the next Peyton Manning, Jake Long, Bruce Smith or Patrick Willis who do you take?" I know the draft is always a crap shoot but the franchise QB is the most important player on any team. They touch the ball on every play and if they are good enough they raise the level of play on the entier team. Bady's WR's when they won the Super Bowls were below average and did they have a running game? Manning alone makes the Colts a contender every season. I know it is very early but look what Bradford and Freeman are doing with their group of WR's.
  4. They need to do something. They drafted Spiller number 1 because they need "playmakers" but with the three backs we have he doesn't get on the field. If you are going to make the commitment to Spiller then make it and move on. Trade either Jackson or Lynch. Compensation: Jackson 3rd or 4th and a 7th, Lynch 2nd or 3rd and a 7th.
  5. I believe it is his inability to read a 3-4 defense. All the success he has ever had has been vs the 4-3. In 2008 the Bills were 1-9 vs the 3-4 defense and 5-1 vs the 4-3 defense. He didn't finish last year but he still looked lost vs the 3-4 and even this preseason. People were saying that he was good in the preseason but that was games 2, 3 and 4 against the 4-3 defenses. Against Washigton in preseason and Miami in the first game he was lost vs the 3-4.
  6. Wasn't Tony Washington the sex offender who knowingly had sex with his biological sister?
  7. If it helps you feel better I heard Pat Kirwan on Sirius say that he felt Wang was one of the better Tackles on the board to start the day. I'm not sure where he had him ranked overall but he spoke very well of him.
  8. How is the report wrong? It says the Bills are asking for a 2nd and the Seahawks are interested. Doesn't matter what Pittsburgh got for Holmes regardless of the Super Bowl MVP. Holmes was a non factor in most of the games he has played in. Lynch was a bright spot on a bad team for two years. Yes he is 1 incident from a 1 yr suspension but he is talented. If he doesn't have any off the feld incidents then a 2nd rd pick is a steal for his talent. Put it this way, If you need a Running Back who will you find in this draft that is better than Marshawn Lynch? Proven 1,000 yard runner and pro bowl player for a 2nd rd pick. Not bad. I think we undervalue him on this board.
  9. The report says Lynch for a 2nd. Why throw in the 3rd or4th?
  10. Working in front of the TV today. Jason LaConfora just said on NFL Network the Bills were not trying to trade up for Teabow and will not be trading up for a QB today. They like a lot of the guys in the 3-4-5 round area.
  11. I was texting with my nephew as he watched ESPN and I watched NFL Network. He said everyone on ESPN with the exception of Gruden was killing us and saying these kinds of decisions are why we lose. On NFL Network, they loved it. He is a playmaker, can score from anywhere on the field, for what they want to do he's perfect... I just think ESPN is a buch of Egos who think if people don't agree with their assessment then they are wrong. Kiper and McShay both suck. I trust Mike Mayock's opinion much more than those two ESPN hacks. If the Bills were not sold on any LT or NT I'm fine with the "playmaker". I just hope they can address their "needs" later in the draft.

  13. Two quick thoughts: 1) Jack influencing people appers to have ended after with Juliet's death. 2) Is Sayid exercising free will to make a choice in not killing Whidmore's girl? My guess, he does not kill Desmond but shoots the gun into the well and Locke thinks he kills him.
  14. After this episode I felt like the original survivors could all feel the electromagnetic pulse. That could explain the sideways world and the timetravel. Not everyone on the island would skip through time and not everyone has a sideways story that they have reflection periods like something is off but all the O6 have those deja vu moments. I think maybe Jabobs replacement will need to be able to sustain those impulses and time travel. Desmond is just the first to realize what is happening.
  15. Try Sirius Online. It is only $2.99 a month and you will get the Sirius NFL Radio and ESPN coverage.
  16. I think they find out Ben killed Jacob.
  17. I'm thinking that the way to beat the fake Locke is to not fight back and turn the other cheek. Choose the right path and you will find your way. From the begining of the show the survivors of 815 are looking to be saved. This season some variation of the question keeps being asked, 'What are you looking for?' The reason the lives are corrected through time is because they are all on a journey of life looking to be saved and everyone figures it out on their own at some point in their life. Some people need to be told what to do while others need to stare at the water and figure it out. The fight on this show is between good and evil and all these characters at some point have had to choose their path between good and evil. Another guess on the ending is people choosing the right path between good and evil and Fake Locke still on the island with the survivors. Time to start the game between Jacob and MIB again and people have made progress.
  18. Have we heard the statement, "I hope you find what your looking for" several times this year. As I was watching this week all I could think is that all these characters are doing soul searching. Reflecting on past experiences with the influence of good and evil and the conflicts of faith and science. I'm begining to think the ending will show several people with clarity of the mind and being at peace with their place in the world. The island will be at the bottom of the ocean because through all these different time lines they were able to "find what they were looking for" and therfore never really lost.
  19. How about swapping 1st round picks and giving Philly back the 6th from the Peters trade for McNabb? Think they would do it?
  20. Can someone please help me? Correct me where I'm wrong? The plane crashes on the island because of some magnetic field. The survivors travel in back time. After going back in time they "destroy the magnetic field". Wouldn't this stop the plane from crashing? If it stops the plane from crashing then they never make it to the island and don't get sent back in time. As I write this I'm wondering, maybe all the survivors did was accelerate/start the war between the others and dharma? Confusing.
  21. I've always thought Parrish was a lot like Max Afinagenov. Really flashy makes some plays but at the end of the day a player that has never lived up to their ability. Say what you want about the coaching staff not using players the right way but I don't think I have ever heard about any Bills QBs/WRs working in the offseason, before or after practice like you hear with the Mannings or Brady. Perhaps that is the reason none of these players live up to thier ability.
  22. I don't think there is a market but if you can get a 3rd or better, I say do it.
  23. You seem to be a glass half empty kind of a guy? They won! It wasn't pretty but they did it. It's OK to be in a good mood today.
  24. They clearly missed the call on the field but I think the NFL will fine Calvin Pace.
