Maybe the Bills are just planning to fill some holes this year and not worry about the major parts just yet (QB, WR). LT, NT & LB are the biggest needs this year. It's been 27 years since the Bills drafted a successful QB, so if we end up with a bad record and can draft one of the top QB's next year, then I'm fine with that. The Bills are not making the playoffs this year, they are rebuilding and it's gonna take some time. It sucks to have to wait longer, but that's what happening whether any of us like it or not.

I think this article sums up what Nix has accomplished. http://www.realfootball365.com/articles/bills/14820 I'm not thrilled either about Marshall going to the fins, I would rather have Marshall than Evans, I was hoping the Bills could have traded Evans for Marshall. But there's no way the Bills could afford two 2nd rounders when they have so many holes on this team to fill.

I'm disappointed that the Bills didn't make an attempt at Marshall. IMO, I would rather have Marshall than Evans. The Bills are not going to make the playoffs this year. Nix plans to build through the draft, so the process will take 2-3 years (at least). If Nix hits on most of his draft picks, then the Bills will have a successful team for years to come. Yes, it does suck to go through rebuilding...again, but I'd rather see the Bills rebuilt the right way this time around. Nix is much better than any of the clowns that ran this team over the last decade.

Bradshaw spells it out for Rapelisberger

Agreed!! -
Fixed it, thanks!

I still remember the fat guy in Miami with his jaw dropped to the floor, Jamie Dukes from the NFL said that guy would later regret that, looks like Jamie Dukes is the one that should be regretting his comments. The Ginn pick was just as bad as the Bills picking Roscoe Parrish in the 2nd round and Aaron Maybin in the first round.

With all the talk about Gailey liking a spread offense

Lee Evans is ranked at #56 amongst WR's

I agree. Evans is a class-act and I love having him on the team, but I think he is highly overpaid. -
Lee Evans is ranked at #56 amongst WR's

I know the post originally came across differently. Like I said, there are a lot of players on this team, regardless of what position (QB, O-line, DE, WR, RB etc...) that have underacheived due to the bad mismangement of this team over the last decade. Can Edwards turn out to be a good QB, it's possible...look at how bad Drew Brees was his first 3 years in SD, Brees had 31 games where he threw for under 200 yards including 6 games that were under 100 yards. Maybe Edwards is a late bloomer like Brees and TE needs better coaching and put in better positions to succeed. Same thing can be said with Lee Evans. The old coaching regime never played around their players strengths. It sounds like Gailey is going to tailor his offense to his players strengths, so that is a step in the right direction. Let's see if it works. -

You should have scrolled down to post #13. But since you didn't, here's what I replied with: The excuses reign... I just posted this to see how many people would make excuses for Evans, because there are a lot of them out there. Now, is Evans really the #56 ranked receiver? Hell no, we all know he is better than that. The Bills have been a dysfunctional mess for most of the decade, which is any reason for any player on this team to be an underacheiver, regardless of their position. IMO, Evans is one of the best #2 WR's in the league, but as a #1 WR, he's not in the top 20. Evans lacks the size to outleap and outmuscle DB's and is unable to shake the double-teams. Evans needs a big physical WR to compliment him, hopefully Stevie Johnson or James Hardy can be that guy. Maybe with having an offensive minded coach (Gailey), he can put Evans & Parrish is better positions to succeed. -
http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/blog/shutdown_...?urn=nfl,233742 Maybe if Rapelisberger would have taken Bradshaw's advice earlier, he wouldn't have been in a motorcycle accident.

Rapelisberger could still be suspended
Jerry Jabber replied to mike oxhurtz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
After the first time, most people gave him the benefit of the doubt, but now that it's happened again, people know something is wrong with this guy. Granted, there was supposedly "not enough evidence" to press charges, but celebrities can buy their way out of trouble. If he gets suspended, good for him, he needs to stop putting himself in those positions, quit embarrassing the Steelers and the NFL. -
Even though Mularkey wasn't a good head coach, but he had a great offensive mind. Mularkey had Evans lined up all over the field to get him open, as where the last regime had Evans lined up on the outside. I like Evans, he has great speed and makes some amazing tip-toe catches in the end-zone, but he's a #2 WR not a #1 WR. Evans can't shake the doubleteams and doesn't have the size to outleap and outmuscle DB's like a true #1 WR can. Maybe with having an offensive minded coach again, Gailey will put Evans in better positions to succeed. Plus, it would be great to see if Stevie Johnson and/or James Hardy can develop into good WR's and help open things up for Evans.

http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2010/04/08/w...ams-over-okung/ Looks like it very possible that the Skins will still draft a LT. Seems they like Williams over Okung. -
Thanks! I don't care much for the new format. IMO, Friday would be good for rounds 1-2.

I know the 1st round is going to be on Thursday, the 22nd. How are the rest of the rounds set up this year?
