Would the "Doom & Gloom" end...

They should play "Who let the dogs out" whenever Vick & Rapelisberger take the field. -

If we got Ben and a good LT, and Evans continued to struggle, then Bills fans will have no more excuses to make for him. -

I think it would be a great move. The next move would be getting a solid LT. Would the Bills consider trading their 2nd round pick for Gaither? Then we can finally see if our WR's have what it takes or if we need to draft new one's in the upcoming years. -
Looks like it's going to take a Top 10 pick. Even though I think Ben is a scum bag, he would help the Bills out big time. Granted, he would miss 4-6 games, but the Bills would have a 2-time Superbowl champion as their QB for years to come. The next problem then would be getting a starting LT to protect Rapelisberger.

Fairly Reliable Scouting Service's Mock Draft

I think the Raiders will draft Clausen if he's still available. I know the Raiders aren't happy with Jamarcus Russell. -

I love Terrorist Pizza from the Jerky Boys, that video on youtube had me rolling. Thanks! I agree with your assessment of the Jets signing Taylor. But you know how some fans are, if we're not doing more in FA than other teams in the division, then that automatically means the Bills will be in last place. The Bills are rebuilding and Taylor would not be a good fit with a rebuilding team. -

The Jets signed Jason Taylor...Oh my goodness, Martha Uncle Freddie died!!!!!! The sky is falling....AAAGGGHHH!!! Give me a f@!king break already. -
You still have to draft a good player. Look at how many busts Donahoe drafted?

I thought the article hit everything on the head about Jauron. It's possible that the Bills could have made it to the playoffs over the past 4 years, but they wouldn't have been a superbowl contender. A good coach will play to the strengths of his players, which is something Jauron didn't do either. How can anyone expect an offense to be successful, when you are limited in plays and the coach wants to employ a "pop warner" type offense? Good coaches find ways to find close games. Bad coaches, like Jauron play scared and lose them. I think most of the posters on here could have called better plays than Jauron & Co did.

Pig Ben, Rapelisberger...keep the names coming, he deserves everyone one of them. -

Over the last 4 years, the Bills had playoff potential, but didn't have a competent coaching staff. Every year over the last 4 years, there were 2-3 (if not more) games where the Bills should have won if it wasn't for the udder stupidity of Dick Jauron. Jauron never had the team physically prepared to play to start the season, which is why the Bills had a high number of players on IR during his tenure. Jauron played not to lose, instead of playing to win. Plus, Jauron didn't always play the best players, it took injuries for Greer, F. Jackson and Byrd to be put in as starters. The team is not that far off. So far Gailey has been addressing some of the problem areas from the Jauron era, if he can address most (hopefully all) and we have another solid draft, we could be a playoff team sooner than anyone expects it. -

LMAO & bad santa!! That's a good one!! 1. You have a point. We have Johnson & Hardy, who are two unknowns still. Also, can Gailey get more production from Evans? 2. The Bills will let all 3 QB's battle it out. Gailey also said they will add another QB, either in the draft or FA. Let's wait and see what happens next week. 3. I would hope the Bills make a move on Schobel soon or trade him to somewhere he wants to go. IMO, our defense will be better. Getting rid of the Tampa 2 defense is a great start. Adding Andra Davis & Dwan Edwards were 2 solid moves. Moving the smaller DE's back to LB's is a good move, since none of them (besides Schobel) could get a whiff of the QB. We'll find out next week if the Bills address the NT & LB positions. 4. You're right about Wood, I hope he can rebound, but it's a gamble. LT needs to be addressed in rounds 1 or 2 of the draft. RT, Green is a stop-gap for 1-2 years until the Bills can draft another RT. 5. You do have a point about Lynch. There's a ton of speculation whether Lynch will or will not be traded. If the Bills address the O-line situation next week, then that could open things up for the RB's. I'm being realistic, I know the Bills are not going to make the playoffs this season. There are a lot of holes to fill, plus a new coaching regime. But, I don't see how Gailey can be worse than the coaching staff that was in here. A pop-warner offense? Drafting 4 to 5 secondary players every year? Not having these guys accountable for their workouts in the gym (plus 12 TV's). Not having the team prepared for the start of every season. I'm glad Jauron & Co are gone and feel better about the Bills chances over the next few years. The process that Nix is going through will take at least 2-3 years, so I'd rather see the Bills built the right way and not try and go for the quick fix like Donahoe tried doing. -
