  1. Whatch you talkin' about Willis?
  2. I'm glad Nix said that, of course most fans will be expecting an instant winner, but it's going to take 2-3 seasons for us to have a solid, competitive team again. I'd rather Nix build the Bills into a long-term winner, even if that means another year or two of missing the playoffs, compared to what Donahoe tried doing which was a build an instant winner that didn't work.
  3. It doesn't look like Claussen will be picked by the Bills if he is available. So does Buddy trade for a stop-gap QB like Campbell or Bulger, or will he pick up a QB in the later rounds of the draft?

  5. I didn't even know the Bills cut him.
  6. That turned out good for SD. If Nix can transform Buffalo like he helped do in SD, then we'll be in great shape once again.
  7. It seems like a lot of people on here are making excuses up for why Jason Campbell hasn't been a successful QB so far. Bad O-line, mismanaged etc..., the exact same things can be said about Trent Edwards.
  8. Yes, it would be great to get back to the playoffs, but you're right, after this long playoff drought, we should be more demanding. We've put up with sub-par/mediocre teams for 10 years and still sell-out the Ralph, so we should demand a serious contender in Buffalo. I miss having playoff games, especially AFC Championship games in Buffalo.
  9. http://www.buffalorumblings.com/2010/4/6/1...sible#storyjump Good article on why the Bills should not try and trade for Jason Campbell.
  10. "$41 million is guaranteed, and a poison pill provision in 2013 basically ends the deal in a practical sense in 2012. So, the Redskins were trying to unload a four-year, $48.2 million deal for a player who played in just 12 games in 2009, and frequently left the field when he was activated over further small injuries. Worse still, the 'Skins are trying to switch to a 3-4 defense, and Haynesworth is a prototype 4-3 tackle who has no desire to be a 3-4 nose tackle." That's why trying to buy a Superbowl will never work.
  11. I disagree, majority of Eagles fans were never going to be happy with McNabb unless the Eagles won multiple Superbowl's. Look at the classless, bandwagon Patriots fans this past season, how can any true Pats fan boo the Pats after the past decade they had. So what, they lost in the 1st round of the playoffs to the Ravens. I also heard many complaints from Pats fans saying they only won 11 games last year. Truth is, fans get spoiled when teams do great for so long. The Eagles sucked before McNabb was drafted, the Pats weren't nowhere near the powerhouse team they were last decade before Tom Brady was drafted. Also to add to that, some Bills fans wanted Kelly to retire the last couple of years he was a Bill. Kelly retired in 1997 and we still don't have a franchise QB.
  12. Look at the way Eagles management has handled McNabb the last 2 years. They talked about trading McNabb last year and/or possibly starting Kolb. Most importantly, look at how Eagles fans have treated McNabb since's he was drafted. Eagles fans booed McNabb from the start, because they wanted the Eagles to draft Ricky Williams.
  13. If anyone's the laughing stock of the NFL, it has to be the Raiders & Lions, they're much worse off than the Bills. And you're right about the Levy hire, I remember hearing that Levy wasn't a good coach from his days in KC, plus the Bills had back-to-back 2-14 seasons when Levy took over. We're gonna have to build through the draft. Once we have built a playoff contender, free agents will want to come here.
  14. When Favre & Green Bay management couldn't settle their differences, Favre wanted to be traded to the Vikings, but GB wouldn't allow Favre to go to a division rival. So Favre went to the Jets for a year, retired for the 27th time, came back again and was able to sign with the Vikings on his own. Favre got his revenge last year, when the Favre led Vikings beat the Packers twice in the regular season. McNabb did a Brett Farve and wanted to play for a divisional rival, that way McNabb can play the Eagles twice a year and have the chance to rub it in the faces of the Eagles management & most importantly the Eagles fans. McNabb took the Eagles to 5 NFC Championship games and 1 Superbowl. The Eagles fans never liked McNabb in the first place. The Eagles fans are a bunch of ungrateful bastards, before McNabb was drafted, the Eagles were a terrible team. I hope this comes back to bite Philly in the butt and they have a 10 year playoff drought like we have.
  15. I agree. McNabb did a Brett Farve and wants to play for a divisional rival, that way McNabb can play the Eagles twice a year and have the chance to rub it in the faces of the Eagles management & most importantly the Eagles fans. McNabb took the Eagles to 5 NFC Championship games and 1 Superbowl. The Eagles fans are a bunch of ungatreful bastards, before McNabb was drafted, the Eagles were a terrible team. I hope this comes back to bite Philly in the butt and they have a 10 year playoff drought like we have.
  16. I think the 2002 offense was the only good offense we had since Jim Kelly retired. I agree with the article, we need a good QB, 2 good WR's and a good O-line, otherwise our offense will continue to suck.
  17. http://www.wivb.com/dpp/sports/bills_and_n...on-from-schobel This is what WIVB reported yesterday.
  18. Cleveland should be added in as well.
  19. Thanks Lori!! I was hoping to see the Bills play in O.P. but no luck. Hopefully I can go to the game vs the Skins.
  20. In all seriousness, you are correct. I know it's still very hot & humid in September down in South Florida.
