  1. Offcourse he's not going to beat JP for second QB this year, even if he would be better then both Trent and JP. Trent is going to start, JP is going to be #2, this has been said from day 1 this season. Demoting JP to 3rd would hurt the team spirit and fan spirit. Next year JP will be gone for sure. What it looks like so fa,r but we'll see from pre-season lineups, that Hamden is being groomed to be #2 behind Trent for next year.
  2. -14.5 starts for Peters under -8.5 Wins for the bills over -3.5 ints for witner under -8.5 sacks for Schobel under -1250 yds for BeastMode over -3.5 division wins over -15.5 total defense rank over or should this be under... I'm seeing us do top 10 -Hardy 4.5 TDs over -McCargo and Stroud combine for 8 sacks over -Evans 8 TDs under -BeastMode 9TDs under -Trent Completion % 58 over -Leodis starts 7 over -Leodis INTs 2.5 under -Trent TDs 19 under
  3. Funny i was just going to post it. Bloody impressive.
  4. Plenty and then some... See my sig for vid. Read the OTA/TC reports, very positive on Hamdan. Watch the OTA/TC highlight vids; watch for #10, lots of good stuff.
  5. It sure reads like its Eugene Parker being the issue; read the kffl abstracts on Steven Jackson... "The Rams continue to fine him $15,000 per day and told his agent, Eugene Parker, they will no longer negotiate with him if he remains out of training camp."
  6. Bills if I can find a broadcast of it (begs NASN) else Olympics...
  7. I've only been to one NFL game sadly (Miami Dolphins vs Giants in London for 90k crowd); this was absolutly quiet compared to the noise of NFL Europe games. Strange thing is that the commentators on TV (i taped it as well) said that the crowd was so loud. Especially the Amsterdam Admirals and Frankfurt Galaxy were absolutly ear bleeding loud with Rhein Fire being loud as well but not to the extend that you HAD to wear earplugs. NFL Europe + no ear plugs = 3 days of impaired hearing with guaranteed headache after the game lol (or rather was ). The noise level by the Amsterdam Admirals was once measured after formal complaints of the Barcelona Dragon coaches (qbs couldnt hear the coaches through the headsets) and 137 decibel was measured on the field lol. Stadiumspeaker could only be heared during offense when you could hear a pin drop lol. Anyway from what I've seen only the Seahawks seem to come close to NFL Europe noise levels. Happy to hear the Bills stadium is loud as well, because as we used to say in NFL Europe: Proud to be loud! Then again thats what you get when you have 15k people blowing airhorns (Amsterdam Admirals) in a dome, or 35k blowing whistles in Frankfurt and 25k in Rhein doing a mix of our airhorns, the Galaxy whistles and just shouting/yelling. In NFL Europe it was common tactic by the fans to support defense by being as loud as possible in order to force timeouts/make audibles impossible/disrupt coach -> qb coms. Here's a vid of the Amsterdam Admirals fans: Here's a vid of the Frankfurt Galaxy fans:
  8. A contract for less money? j/k
  9. Thx for the reply Dan, no question about the picking order at all, I totally agree. Just trying to hear from someone who has been at camp how Hamdan is looking live. For me it's been 2 years ago since I last seen him, from what I gather from the reports and vids he's looking as good as ever but those reports don't always tell the whole truth.
  10. Maybe he got scared and wants to make sure he has enough money to last his live if he does get injured permanently.
  11. *bump for good thread taht hasnt gotten attention it deserved* The reports on http://www.billszone.com had a few comments; i think one was the busses not being airco-ed and the other one was about the trainingcamp book that became a newspaperish thingy.
  12. #10 is Hamdan and he's been with us as 3QB since last year (Nall was cut and Hamdan picked up, he was te #2 Qb for one game even behind Trent with JP injured). See my sig for his details.
  13. Thanks man, love reading these reports. Link didnt work for me but a visit to http://www.billszone.com did wonders for others who find the deep link isnt working for them. Nice to read some indepth info on how Hamdan is doing as well, man do I miss the Amsterdam Admirals and NFL Europe. Really hope the Bills get around to fixing their o-line, new offense playbook was much needed but will be pretty useless with a disfunctional o-line. Love to hear about how you'd rate Hamdan vs. JP and Trent (just pm it to prevent steering this thread way off course into a heated well you know...) Reason I'm asking is to see what chances he has making the team as 3rd QB (i.e. will the Bills go with 3 QB on the roster or just 2, if Hamdan performs near Trent/JP like then I could see the coaches going with 3 QBs on the roster, however if Baker is (out)performing Hamdan I see us going with just Trent/JP on the roster and Baker on PS (Hamdan isnt PS elligible anymore). A cut would most likely mean an end to Hamdan's career, sadly. From the OTA reports and TC reports thus far Hamdan sounds like the def. #3 QB atm, with little to no competition from Baker, but you have seen them which tells a lot more then just text.
  14. Lol, silly Jets... Would have thought this more of a Miami Dolphins thing to do... They like expensive QB's that'll last only a couple of games... Seriously, this kinda stuff is really bad for team atmosphere (both for the Jets and for the Packers) and if this drags out it will show in the Packers their results. Allthough NFL is very much business in the end it's a team game, the Giants didnt win the SB last year on sheer quality but on team effort and the willingness to give it all for each other. It's allready confirmed the Packers wont retire Favre his number this year, rumors going around of the Packers offering Favre 20mil to stay retired for 10 years, Rodgers allready had his game setout for him this season with the Packers love child retired but with all this; one boo-boo and the Packer fans will cry bloody murder against their FO/coaching staff over this.
  15. Hmmm, poor LA lol. Paul T. def. thought different about this one. Maybe they should implement a salary cap per player linked to his experience. But it should also include a guranteed injury settlement fee then. Jup... As we saw from the closure of NFL Europe... Under Paul T. he always pretended to be a big supporter of development leagues and international expansion, as soon as Paul T. left the building he pulled all the plugs, dishonering a commitment to 2010 made to the 700.000 NFL Europe fans. Still leaves a big gap for a development league though for the players that fall through the maze. Maby CFL will start to fulfill that role now that NFL Europe is gone, and they sure can use the quality boost there lol. The level of play in NFL went up similtanously with NFL Europe being the development league, let's see how the level of play will be 3 years from now (will it suffer from the lack of a development league or will CFL take it's place or will it turn out that the raise in play level was coincidental and not related to NFL Europe at all). The NFL Europe OT rule worked so well, I never understood why owners voted it down time and time again. NFL Europe OT rule was that both teams should get the ball at least once, if the team that won the toss scored then the other team would get a drive in which they could try to tie or win it. The result being that it's still a football game instead of a toss "lottery let's kick a fg to take the win". With a FG you werent sure you had it bagged, unless you were the team that lost the toss. It didnt change the game in regular time either, if you are in position to pull in a OT from behind you go for the OT chance in the current NFL model as well, if you have a chance to win the game in regular time then both systems encourage that as well.
  16. Good grief, jeah, been to the Dolphins London game last year... What a piece of crap that music is. *. Funny thing, they kept showing vids about their perfect season on the stadium vids as well. Someone was very out of touch with the Dolphins performance last year in their organization. **. I genuily hope stadium atmosphere is a hell of a lot better in the USA then it was at the London game, I had the game taped on dvr so I could watch it when I got home from the real thing (I always do that when I go to a live game) and the commentators were raving about the atmosphere. Well compared to what the atmosphere was like in NFL Europe this had the atmosphere of a morque.
  17. Bloody hell... lame... That police officer never got a prom date and has been frustrated ever since. c/d?
  18. Can't he? Read the OTA reports; JP plus Trent: offense in trouble, Trent + Gibran: Offense clicks.
  19. For me: -. Best QB to have played in NFL Europe ever (beating the likes of Shaun Hill, Kurt Warner, Brad Johnson, Jake Delhomme, Damian Huard, JT O'Sullivan, Jon Kitna to name a few). -. Holds most NFL Europe alltime records as well as seasonal records. -. Played and won a game playing on a heavily bruised ankle and another broken ankle; an injury incurrred on the first play of the game where he was targetted on purpose after the play was over. -. He's a really nice guy. -. Check my signature for a highlight vid. -. He's doing really well with the Bills so far and will hopefully remain with the Bills for a long long time. and will hopefully become #2 QB next year after JP leaves.
