Bills restructure Taron Johnson creating 1.75 million in cap space

My thoughts are how much will Brady use it? We had MVS who did nothing here, then went to the Saints and had 4 straight weeks with 50+ yard TDs right after we cut him. Why didn't Brady figure out how to use that? Or does he not want to? -
Will we see Hairston "shadowing" Worthy on Sunday??

Bills apparently have called Saints about Olave deal but nothing yet on that front... https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2025-nfl-trade-deadline-live-updates-latest-rumors-buzz-and-news-in-final-two-days-to-make-deals/live/

What’s the go to spot in Buffalo for a game?
Big Turk replied to Billsfed1's topic in The Stadium Wall
My couch. Well technically my living room since I walk up and down the hallway the entire game and get about 18K steps in. -
Bishop somehow has to be in there...he made the most impactful plays on D in the game, IMO

I need to know WTF Terrell Bernard is doing on this 4th and 17 play...nobody should be open if he just does what he is supposed to do and he inexplicably turns and runs the other way towards a player already double covered and running into a 3rd defender...like talk about a brain cramp. That's every DC in the NFL, BTW -
Are McBeane secretly creating an elite offense?
Big Turk replied to BullBuchanan's topic in The Stadium Wall
The point is he will be far better at getting open downfield than what we have now which will have to be respected and should allow more breathing room underneath. Regardless of what we thought of him, he was one of the best deep ball WR's in the NFL during his time here and had the 2nd highest YPC in the NFL while here. -
Usually most years we get one close game and one blowout. Already had the close game so that means this should be the... They will, Rosen makes use of void years significantly and it is all going to catch up to them at some point, but he might have 2 or 3 rings by the time it does. I would like to see Beane do a little bit more of this.

yeah that's the procedure Rodgers had and he seems pretty much back to normal for his age

They make muscles stronger faster than the tendons and ligaments can build strength to support them which is why they happen so often with people on them...no idea if that was the reason why, but it doesn't help.

Gabe will be good to go within a month or so, perfect for the stretch run, IMO The man is 26 years old, let's not act like he is on the other side of 30. -
Bills offense -- first in the NFL in yards per game
Big Turk replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
All while running the same plays repeatedly, sometimes back to back...same thing we saw in the Panther game with the crack toss. Bills ran this counter trey 9 times against the Chiefs with them doing it on back to back plays a few times. This is called "make your life simple" until they stop it. -
Snap counts for the Bills in Chiefs game
Big Turk replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cam Lewis's interchangeability and ability to play safety gives the Bills a chess piece they used in disguises that they don't have with Taron...just saying. Thinking we might see Lewis more even when Johnson comes back, or at least we should. -

Are you sure about that? Because in the AFCCG last year I saw Mack Hollins beat Trent McDuffie for a 35 yard TD right before the half. -
So glad our coaching staff didn't listen to fans who wanted to run him out of town because he needed to get some experience under his belt in his first half dozen starts. Imagine that...a player improves when he gets more playing time as a young player. Never would have guessed that. Also, DO NOT underestimate the effect Jordan Poyer has had bringing him along in this defense and helping him learn what he needs to do and where he needs to be and why in various situations... We laughed at the Bills bringing Poyer back but they know what the wanted to do with him and the role he would play in mentoring Bishop.

It may just be me but I think Gabe Davis's deep ball ability as WR4 like he was when he first got to the Bills and the return of Palmer who was starting to come on I thought as of late are going to play key roles for this team moving forward... -
Insane stat re: Josh Allen rushing TD's.........
Big Turk replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
Moore's pass was amazing but that throw to Kincaid for the long gainer where he pumped, reloaded, stepped up and around and then uncorked an absolute laser that hit Kincaid perfectly in stride between two defenders crossing near field on the run was unreal as well. -
I've said it over and over again that when the Bills best is required, you almost always get it. And oh, BTW, we have the #1 offense in the NFL regardless of people's opinions on what it "looks like".
-
They were moving them all over the place including having no DT's on the field and rushing 4 DE's on 3rd and 5+
-
I mean the Bills lead the NFL in YPG with 385.1 and are 4th in scoring at over 29 PPG. People might not always like what it looks like, but it's highly effective most days.

And also for as "bad" as we want to say the D has been, they are 12th in YPG at 311.3 and 9th in PPG at 20.9. Easily within Super Bowl winning performance if we could get this against KC in the playoffs. Chiefs had 304 yards yesterday and would have finished well under 300 if not for a few crazy plays they made. Their D has been better YPG wise than the Vikings, Colts, 49ers, Jags and Eagles.
