Interesting from ChiefsPlanet... They attribute this to copying what Harbaugh and the Chargers did to the Chiefs a few weeks before...have 2 DL on one side crash hard and bull rush forcing Mahomes to bail out of the pocket in the direction they want and then have a spy force immediate pressure on him since he is already on that side of the field he is flushing to... Also some comments about how Oliver completely manhandled Trey Smith all game and saying that they don't even see Chris Jones manhandle anyone the way Oliver did to Smith... https://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=356009&page=3

Random talking head says something about the Bills

Former Vikings GM Rick Spielman and Ryan Wilson do a Franchise QB Draft and Spielman is drafting first and takes Josh Allen...his co-host agrees and said he would have taken Allen first also. Steve Smith breaks down how Khalil Shakir makes the Bills so dangerous and is a huge difference maker. -
It was awesome, but we have grown accustomed to them beating the Chiefs during the regular season...4th straight time. Now they need to do that in the post-season so we can get accustomed to it there too.

He probably said something smart to Woody Johnson when Johnson was getting after him about the team I am guessing.

Chris Long: "If I could teleport to any place in the world right now...forget the Vatican City, you could go to like...name a place...I'd rather be at Bar Bill...if somebody dropped me at Bar Bill they would peel me out of there...the vibe in that city right now...you know what was gorgeous? The shot of the stadium aerial and then the stadium they are building right next to it..." -
Chiefs in general play close games as a rule even against bad teams...Bills do not usually. That could cost them.

Pittsburgh has Baltimore's number kinda like the Bills have the Dolphins number.

Also, in the playoffs you get the La "Mew" version of Jackson and not the Lamar version...kinda like what you saw against Pittsburgh. When he needs to make a big play, he doesn't do it.

It's a week to week league. Nothing less, nothing more. We have been consistently better week to week than the Ravens. Houston did everything they could to hand us that game and we just didn't take it. If Allen didn't have the worst game in his career that day, we win easily and are 10-1. /Thread.

Really? We don't win the Cardinal game without him...dude was all over the field making plays against the run in the 2nd half.

Something different/special about the 24 Bills
Big Turk replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not really...Mahomes was having to try and wear the cape to get anything going much more than Allen was yesterday. Bills scored 30 missing 3 offensive starters. I'd say that is pretty good production. -

As Orlovsky said, schematically the Chiefs won the play...nothing as open...Allen just didn't care and made a play out of nothing which is something only the great ones can do...rise above the schemes and playcalls when needed in key situations to make plays. -
Bernard and Milano are going to be so much fun to watch and will allow us to match up in certain situations with Williams as the 3rd LB if they are facing run heavy teams like Baltimore and need some extra pop in there

You would think but it's hard to pass up the big payday and turn down your dream job as an NFL head coach that he has been working so hard towards for so long. You never know when that opportunity will come around again and it's hard to just put it on hold, but depending on what team it is, he should definitely consider it...

We hung 30 on the Chiefs missing 3 offensive starters and on a team that hasn't allowed more than 28 points in the regular season since Week 4 of 2022. Also the 5th straight game the Bills have scored 30+... This team is going to reach new levels by the end of the year offensively....they are already really, really good and they haven't peaked yet.

Honestly I think the entire team and coaching staff deserves a game ball. It was as complete a game as we have seen from start to finish all year and it came against the 2x defending SB champ and previously undefeated Chiefs, not the Jags or Seahawks. Chiefs were out coached and outplayed on both sides of the ball.

Bill Cowher jumped a table. Are these tables rigged on CBS?

Haha, you could see when they were setting them up they were "pre-broken" -
Too bad Brady will almost assuredly be a Head Coach somewhere next year as the "hot candidate" along with Ben Johnson for all the openings there will be.

Mahomes had under 200 yards passing and almost no explosive plays, what exactly are you talking about about? Bills had more explosive plays in the first half than the Chiefs did all game. -

I don't really think Hollins was a pick on the Samuel TD. He was running a route and the Chiefs player ran into him. I mean if someone is running into me I am probably putting my hands up to to protect myself. -

Resigned to the fact that Joe Brady is as good as gone this off-season to be head coach somewhere. IMO Babich could be the difference if he is willing to coach the same in the regular season and be aggressive in the playoffs instead of passive like McD always seems to become.
