At the end of the day, we need players on defense that can end up taking over a game like Chris Jones does when the Chiefs need him to late and in close games in the 4th quarter in the playoffs. We have ZERO players that are capable of that outside Von Miller, who we have never seen in the playoffs yet with us. Saddled with players on defense that shrink in the moment. Know what could happen in those situations McD "chokes in the clutch" as you put it? Someone on the defense could make a single goddamn play one time to prevent any of it from happening. They never do. THAT is the actual problem far more than McD "choking in the clutch". Defenders who play like Lamar does in the playoffs...play your worst game in the biggest moment. Ever watch how many playoff games Chris Jones has single handedly saved the Chiefs in late in the 4th quarter when a play needs to be made? It happens almost every single game. Who on the Bills is doing that? Nobody. We let Tyreek Hill catch a 8 yard crosser and house it for 75 yards in that situation.

He also leads the NFL all-time in TDs/game. He is literally the most productive player to ever play in the NFL on a per game basis.

This is a team that was in the SB 2 years ago and was 10-0 at one point last year without Barkley on it.

They are simply looking for reasons to not give it to Josh like every year, what's new. It's laughable that someone would feel Barkley is more valuable than Allen in ANY situation. Allen had more EPA last week than Barkley has all year. Let that sink in when you think about how valuable each is to his team. If Barkley breaks the record then great...he had an amazing individual accomplishment for his position. Which is still the least valuable offensive position in the NFL. You want to give him OPOY great, go for it... MVP? Never. It's absurd.

Now he only needs 7 in the next 4 games. If he only produces his average TD/game for his career he will easily get it. He averages an NFL all-time best 2.37/TD per game which would give him 9.48...say 9 to keep it simple, which would give him 42 on the season.

Yeah you can't do a surprise inside kick anymore. You have to declare it and you also have to be trailing in the 4th quarter to be able to even attempt it. They are talking about further tweaking it so that the kickoff either is further back to prevent so many TBs or the penalty for a TB for kicking into the end zone is to the 35 yard line instead of the 30.

I am rooting for them in the NFC. They are Buffalo's kindred spirit in the NFC...overlooked, laughed at and joked about for so long...dysfunctional for decades...one of only 3 teams to lose every game in a season(even we never had it THAT bad!) There was an article that talked about Goff's futile bid to overtake Allen as MVP and it said to ignore the EPA+CPOE because Allen's EPA per play edge is so large he has been 20% more effective per play on average than the 2nd best QB Lamar. She loves it here and has written and talked about it quite a bit

Yes because when the game was still close it wasn't working and then it started getting away from them and they had to throw more. Plus there was no real reason to run because Allen was destroying them thru the air and had almost no pressure all game. Essentially you are asking them to do something less effective than what they were doing when what they doing was working virtually all day. How does that make any sense? All game plans are not going to be the same. They are team and situation specific.

Maybe allow more recovering players on one side? Or not allow returners to make a play on the ball until it goes 10 yards just like the recovering team?
