  1. I mean who the hell makes a 60 yard FG in the rain and wind except against the Bills? I'm not sure how many crazy, impossible FG's the Bills have had made against them over the years, but it has to be far more than any other team. It's craziness...and you sit there and watch all these other games and the same kicks aren't even close to being made. I just don't understand it. This just is not our year...I don't even know what else to say at this point.
  2. I dunno...the worst part is all he had to do is run the route he ran against KC late in the 4th quarter in the playoffs and they win the game...like he already knows what to run against that blitz.
  3. Bills have more impossible FG attempts made against them than anyone else and its not close...been happening for years even during the drought years
  4. Just not our year. Nothing to really say. Anytime something can go wrong this year it does.
  5. This is almost unfathomable how bad the officiating has ben in favor of the EAgles.I don't even know what to say.
  6. Of course...a hold against us on D that is nowhere involved in the play gets called but blatant PI against the Eagles goes uncalled...officials are absolute dog sh!t today
  7. I am so sick and tired of the refs trying to play favorites...7 penalties? Every time we do something remotely good that they can find something to call, they call? The holding penalty on Ty Johnson's 15 yard run was an absolute joke, the dude slipped and McGovern pushed him down. That's a hold? Now they back us up o the 5 AFTER the commercial break? Irritated. Feels like a Patriot game from the drought years when you knew early on you would not only have to beat a really good team, you'd also have to beat the refs.
  8. Not even close. Does he even have a ceiling?
  9. Seems kind of coincidental timing that Tomlin's good friend, former college teammate and fellow head-coach McDermott fires his OC a week prior, gets a spark they needed immediately and then Tomlin follows suit. Wonder if McD's decision and subsequent performance of the offense had any bearing on his thought process or if Tomlin even talked to McD briefly about the situation. I mean even down to the wording he used it was almost the same as McD's in that "the decision was mine and mine alone." according to Tomlin.
  10. I'm actually waiting for some sort of play action out of this situation or a pitch out wide...could be walk in TDs with the D expecting a sneak.
  11. If there is a team that could do it, it's the Bills....their D has been pretty great on short yardage situations over the last few years with multiple stuffs on 4th and 1. Gotta get low...if anything maybe just dive right through and try and take the center/guards legs out so they can't down underneath you and have the backers clean it up.
  12. Wait til year 2 when teams figure out how to expose and attack it...his defense goes down the tubes like Greg Roman's offense does as time goes on. We have also seen that firsthand multiple times in both cases with multiple teams now.
  13. Well...maybe...sometimes that doesn't happen until the following season tho. There are a lot of times when teams will win a lot of games like that one year and then lose most of the games like that the following year. Why? Honestly, mostly just luck. Luck plays a much, much bigger role in sports than most want to give credit for or admit. I am sure someone somewhere is convinced the Eagles did something to make MVS drop a wide open game winning TD, Watson drop a wide open 4th and 25 conversion in Eagles territory that would have been a first down instead of ending the game. Or maybe the Texans did something that caused Tyler Boyd to drop a wide open TD late in the Texans game that would have given them a 4 point lead. Broncos must have done something that made Gabe Davis drop a perfectly thrown pass in stride inside their 15 yard line that bounced off his hands and became an INT instead of first and goal... No...that was just luck. Sometimes you are the beneficiary of it and sometimes you aren't.
  14. Maybe Linval Joseph can help. He was there last year and probably went up against it in practice. Bills run D has been stellar since he has got here, only allowing 3.1 YPC in 3 games.
  15. Giving Denver average starting field possession of their own 42 yard line and 4 TO's is why they lost that game, not the defense. Usually because we have turned the ball over multiple times in those games. I'm not worried about the past. If this was the first game of them hitting their stride, nothing else will matter. They are capable of beating anyone. At the end of the day people spend a lot of time wrangling about stuff when what they really need to understand is that luck plays a much greater part in sports than we want to admit. Did the Eagles do anything to cause MVS to drop an easy wide open TD that was thrown perfectly that would have given the Chiefs the lead late in the game? No. Did they do anything that caused Watson to drop a perfect pass that hit him right in the hands on 4th and 25 that would have converted the 4th down in Eagle territory instead of ending the game? No. Did the Texans do anything to cause Tyler Boyd to drop a wide open TD late in the game on 3rd and goal that would have given them a 4 point lead instead of just letting them kick a FG to tie it which then allowed the Texans to kick the winning FG a few plays later? No. Did the Broncos do anything to cause a wide open Gabe Davis to have a perfectly thrown ball go through his hands and bounce right to a Bronco defender for an INT at the Denver 10 yard line? Giving the Broncos the ball instead of the Bills having a 1st and goal? No. Go back and look at virtually every close game and you will see luck played a factor in the winner and loser and also explains why there is almost no correlation between teams records in 1 score games from 1 year to the next. The whole "This coach/team can't win 1 score games" is mostly nonsense. Teams that typically do great in 1 score games one year, often times do terrible the following year. Why? Luck. That's why. The best way to ensure you have a winning record is to not allow the game to be that close at the end so there is a chance luck plays a part.
  16. Actually without their top 2 CBs. Reid was also out that game.
  17. Honestly I figured the refs would get flag happy like they have in almost every game this year.
  18. Still overruns plays at times, but he is a rookie, it's going to happen...dude is going to be a baller tho. And yet still 4th in the NFL in defensive scoring allowing only 17.3 PPG and one of two teams that hasn't allowed 30 points this year...this ain't struggling. We saw a lot of struggling during the drought years. Assuredly, this wasn't what it looked like.
  19. You mean other than Knox hasn't been that in over 2 years now?
  20. Seems like Linval Joseph is really having a major impact on the run D...Bills have only allowed 3.1 YPC since he has been here. Have you noticed anything on tape that stands out other than him occupying double teams and being an immovable object in the middle of the line? I have seen Bernard appearing like Flash Gordon in the backfield like he was shot out of a cannon on several plays over the last few weeks to make TFL's to the point I am like where the hell did he come from?
  21. Bills run D is only allowing 3.1 YPC since Linval joseph has got here. Keep that up and it makes it much easier in all areas. Teams will be forced to drop back against that pass rush.
  22. Ehh...I mean there is some truth to the division game thing, but the Eagles also lost to the Jets and Zach Wilson didn't look horrendous against them either. Also Allen is tied for 15th in the NFL in passing attempts per game, so he actually doesn't throw that much, he is pretty much league average.
