  1. Some speculating Reid Ferguson will get cut for a day so they can get Spector to in-season IR giving them the option of bringing him back at some point during the year. Then will resign Ferguson again tomorrow. Perfect candidate since he has no guarantees in his contract and is not subject to waivers.
  2. And he also has been terrible at protecting QBs who get injured at a far, far higher rate than anywhere else in the NFL.
  3. Dorsey's stats last year across the board were better than Daboll's last year here. If that's your first year on the job, that's a pretty damn good floor to have.
  4. Let's be real...Lance was Shanahan's doing.
  5. When is Shanahan by that logic? He gave up 3 firsts and more for Lance who he dumped for a 4th and got literally nothing out of him. Let's stop acting like all picks are homeruns for other teams.
  6. Pretty sure it works that way across the board in all areas of life...the longer you do something, the more you learn and the better you get at it. It's not rocket science.
  7. I'm not sure this should be a surprise to anyone... he would lap the field if they asked "Who is the best GM at getting players to take below market deals to stay with or come to a team?"
  8. It was his first year...pretty sure you weren't as good at what you do for a living in year 1 as you would be in year 2 or year 5 or year 10.
  9. Only if he is the Real McCoy
  10. Highly unlikely a person who has been "shopping" a team would undertake a project the size and scope of which the upgrades to Key Bank Center will likely entail, which are planned to take "years" to complete as much of the work will be done during the offseason, which is about to get a lot shorter starting next year. I'll chalk this up in the bar talk coming from a friend of a friend of a cousin's sister's friend category
  11. Let's be real...unless you have the cap space for a high end backup, you are going to struggle to win games if QB1 goes down. Most teams that have that type of cap space for a high end back up have their starter on a rookie deal or the starter isn't very good so if he struggles they can turn to the high priced backup to hopefully come in and give them a boost for a few games.
  12. I'm not going to say this makes zero sense but it is as close to zero as you could possibly get. 1) Teams need more quality CB's with injuries and the plethora of WRs to cover on most plays now. 2) He is on a cheap rookie deal 3) He fits their scheme well 4) No team is going to give up much for him in a trade...you aren't getting a 1st round pick for him or anything close to that. After typing that out...I changed my mind...this does absolutely make ZERO sense.
  13. It's a preseason game. Relax a little.
  14. Didn't he go down awkwardly last week also after his leg got rolled up on and was holding his knee?? Wonder if that played a part in this...
  15. The team was not ready to play tonight. Honestly looks like a repeat of the Bengals playoff game. Not sure what's going on but they shouldn't look the same in games 7 months apart.
  16. Haha, I used to be over there every day for 10 years working at RAC... Grew up on the East Side too near Kensington-Bailey. That whole area from Kensington-Bailey back to Broadway and Gibson is straight ghetto now and getting worse. Used to crack up seeing all the suburban white people going to the Broadway market around Easter and they were scared as hell.
  17. Same every year...lots of show and glitz and bling, still lacking basic realistic features... Why do AI teams always have 3 timeouts at the 2 minute warning and call them the exact same way? Betting fumbled punt returns can still be returned for TDs...that's been a bug since the beginning and was still there 3 or 4 year ago in the last one I played. They claim it's realistic but only if you look at the very surface. Any digging a little further down for depth leaves you disappointed.
  18. Hamburg, Blasdell, OP or West Seneca are all fairly close driving distance. Wanted to go there once and the wait was outrageous and they were super unorganized
  19. Unlikely. PS candidate with call up potential.
  20. Same thing that happened last year. It was expected.
  21. KC's WR's have not been consistently better. TE for sure. RB's probably a push if not favoring the Bills slightly in terms of actual production. KC's uses the RBs in the passing game more than the Bills do. What they do have is a more QB friendly scheme there that gives Mahomes a lot of easy answers all the time.
  22. That would be a hell of a block of Kincaid was blocking DEs while split out in the slot...except if he was in tight.
  23. Guess he went top shelf where Momma hides the cookies... RIP RJ, the best to have ever done it. Rough Day, would have been my Mom's 85th birthday and then RJ dies.
  24. They aren't bad in short yardage. They are bad only on the goal line. Warren Sharp made that a point in the article.
