Klein can always be counted on to be in the right position and know what he is supposed to do...might be a step slow getting there now, but trusting the player knows what he is doing is a huge thing in this defense because they are a technique and positional defense which requires all players to be on the same page to function at a high level.

Probably doesn't see a path forward here with the way Bernard has been playing and the Bills likely told him as much...he was insurance against Bernard not looking the part, but he has very much looked the part.

Reader's Digest names Buffalo the "nicest place in America"

Try parking on the side of the highway next time with your hazards on and see how many people stop within 15 minutes to offer help. I have been late to work more times than I have fingers on one hand from that. -
Doesn't really matter much. I like McD's track record against young QBs. Dude is gonna see stuff he didn't know existed this week.

The craziest part is, I would not be surprised if those people made a bunch of new friends, some of whom they still talk to and hang out with from time to time. That's just kinda how we roll here. -
Well...Chase...no plans to re-sign Higgins.

Bengals are going to turn that calf strain into an Achilles tear if they don't let him rest. Ask Golden State and Kevin Durant how that one went...

This has the look of Mike White hype and then he faced the Bills.

It was a major shipping, port and commerce city at the height of the Great Lakes boom...not exactly the same, commerce leads to wealth in and of itself from all those companies sending their products thru this area. Look back in history and all of the major trade centers in countries were also among the wealthiest. Also was the flour milling capital of the world for many years when production surpassed Minneapolis starting in 1930 and lasted thru the 1970s or early 1980s. -

The monetary wealth of this city may have long since gone away when it was the wealthiest city per capita in the entire US at the turn of the 20th century in 1900, but it never left, it just shifted to a wealth that money can't buy and why it leaves so many people in other cities feeling empty and like something is missing. Pretty much the way I have felt in every other place I have lived outside of WNY.- 90 replies

Should be a double digit win. These are the games they just steamroll teams. Especially NFC Teams that aren't familiar with them that much.

one of the craziest games I have seen that had almost everything in a whole season worth of games for a team in the first half of the first half!

Fan dies in stands after fight at Patriots game
Big Turk replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's why no matter what happens out in public unless my life is in danger, I walk away. Not worth dying over, being shot over, severely beaten, etc... People are psychotic these days and have no respect for human life. Also with everything that has gone on the past 3-4 years you have no idea what a person's mental state is and if you will be the straw that broke the camel's back in terms of pushing them over the line where they snap and just can't take it anymore. -
Let's not forget that this huge increase in 12 personnel is going to take some getting a feel for in terms of philosophical change to the offense as well...last year we were one of the lowest, if not THE lowest, in terms of using 12 personnel. This year so far we are #1 by a country mile in terms of 12 personnel. I don't think it's unfair to say Dorsey is still getting a feel for how to use this package to their advantage best and probably will continue to learn and adjust over the course of the first 8-10 weeks, I would imagine.

It's Early of Course but the Schedule Now Looks a Lot Easier
Big Turk replied to jethro_tull's topic in The Stadium Wall
They did last time we played them too and we T-rolled them. -
Seeing as how they have won other ways more than any other team in the NFL over the past 3 seasons in the regular season, it seems they win pretty much anyway they want... But I agree, it makes things much easier for Allen and much harder on the D.

A Few Thoughts about the Raiders Game, in no particular order
Big Turk replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
And they all can catch the ball fairly well out of the backfield at minimum...none of them look awkward running pass routes. -
Looks like they weren't joking about the shift to 12 Personnel a lot more...both TE's played at least 60%

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)
Big Turk replied to JÂy RÛßeÒ's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sounds about right...leave it to Bills fans to try and be the first casualty at the new stadium before it opens. -
Yeah I know...it's crazy how this works for some positions but not other positions... Willing to bet NFL teams know there is going to be a massive cap increase coming next year---even more than what we already know is coming from the new TV Contracts.

Leonard Floyd and Micah Hyde say they're all good
Big Turk replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Is homeboy who dissed us and then went back to Washington still on the team so we can B word slap him again? -
Yes the standard when you can argue you are equivalent to Mahomes and should get the same deal and contract terms...except there isn't anyone else who can at this point and likely won't be in the future either outside of 1 or 2 players.

It was...I have out of town games streaming on my laptop/phone to kinda of check out in between action of the Bills game. Allen's greatest gift is his greatest curse...he believes he is the baddest MOFO on the field every play and wants to show them eventually, especially if he feels the offense isn't doing it's part or not living up to it's standard of play... Bills have now scored 30+ points in 27 games over the past 4 seasons, most in the NFL. He has gotten accustomed to it and wants it every game even when the gamescript and gameflow doesn't dictate it.

OT: will that FG block by the Pats fundamentally change kicks?
Big Turk replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
yup, he missed quite badly
