  1. As do I. If you truly study the film, its hard not to see the talent Jackson has. His inaccuracy seems to be from footwork, not bad decisions or arm talent. He throws w/ ease & looks very trainable.
  2. How, signings for depth & camp. Need 90 for roster
  3. I agree, watch for more similar signings, LBs ect. No WR yet though, likely one from the draft for that
  4. Pisses me off to no end when I hear this . Would love to build w/ our picks & take Lamar J
  5. Of course nobody knows, educated speculation at best. My belief is that alot of people are sleeping on Lamar. The eye test does not reveal a Tyrod clone imo.
  6. I really liked the idea of Harrison Phillips (Stanford) in the draft or another prospect to take over when Kyle leaves. Now that we signed Star, do you guys think we'll draft DT?
  7. Dont know much about either really but per film study, Rosen!
  8. From what I have read, but definitely have not confirmed, is that the Bills Brass talked with teams at the top of the draft and inquired about how far back they were willing to move. from this, they new they needed to be around the 12th pick to trade up without selling the farm. That set the machine in motion to talk to all the teams close to the 12th pick who were willing to make a deal... Cincy said they would be our Huckleberry, and we procured that position. Now that the Bills are in a palpable draft spot to trade up, top teams are more willing to wheel and deal. So if the Giants said they wouldn't trade back any further than the 12th-14th spot, then Buffalo had to find another dance partner before they could swing with the Giants. Maybe the Giants guaranteed the Bills a trade if they were able to do so at the combine. I don't know if that is what happened, but it is not as outrageous as it seems. again, I have no sources, but there is a possibility that it happened... to what percent of a possibility, I have no idea. Actually sounds like a fairly plausible scenario - I'd be good w/ it.
  9. I voted Mayfield because OP asked most likely. I can't believe any of the perceived 1st group will fall that far. Mid teens maybe. 2nd group, -Jackson would be my hope.
  10. I've watched almost every Louisville game from the last two years. You can see it in one of the charts at the link below. Edit: It should be noted that these numbers have slightly moved around since I originally posted it; I think I threw those charts together prior to the bowl games. https://www.buffalorumblings.com/2017/12/14/16776108/more-ncaa-qb-charts Edited 9 minutes ago by DCOrange Top notch work, It does help illustrate the stats & completely cloud the decision on who is best fit for our Bills.. Mayfield looks great here though.
  11. I suppose 4th would make since. rumor has it he's given a clean bill of health for off season workouts so we'll see what that means. They may just wait til draft day to see how use him as trade bait leverage.
  12. On NFL Trade Rumors it was suggested that Cordy may have been shopped for a late round pick. Seems pretty low to me for an accomplished Starting left tackle. Thoughts?
  13. Of all these posts your is probably the closest. Everyone wants us to believe we will be better once new players are brought on but the main problem is "WE ARE REBUILDING" Probably will be better in time but as all educated fans know it takes an 0-line, particularly, time to be cohesive whether talent is better or not. With that said though, the interior of our line was the problem, NOT Peters. In a short time that should be an upgrade since our Center(s) were walking zombies & Dock was bad!
  14. I read that in a few places now as well. What scares me is there seems to be quite an interest in him from the Bills.
  15. We have a problem winning the "A" gap battles. Inexcusable - the offense controls the snap count. For reasons unknown, Schonert or OL coach won't devote a back to plug the leakage. They have a leaky interior line, IMO. Result...check-down passes to avoid a sack. Agreed completely. Thats why we were gonna employ a fullback in our system now. What happened?
  16. 17. Excellent work! My Choices would be 1-Jeff Garcia Trent could learn alot from him. Pretty savy QB 2-Kerry Collins - Been around & seen it all including some very trying times as a NFL QB -should help Trent's mental prep 3-David Carr - Mostly just because He'd be a solid backup for the "injury fill-in" games[ 4- Bryron Leftwitch - Hopefully he can teach a little better toughness 5- Charlie Batch - He's cheap & probably got a year or two of mopup duty left.
  18. I read here every day but rarely post. I must agree w/ you though. Why is he so afraid of hitting the QB? He has done this repeatedly all season. Sometimes even lets them out his grasp. He will only tackle w/his arms never bringing a hit. Think maybe thats what the coaches are teaching? Pathetic!
  19. I totally disagree. Just because someone has an opinion doesnt mean thay should earn a metal evry time they "express" themselves. Read, Learn, be advised & make a more fact based statement if its entirely necessary. Far too many people "express" themselves just to be heard but we can hear all kinds of slants if want to look for them. A forum like this - ok - But the Newspaper ? Enuff already !!!
  20. Stirrings Man Stirrings ! Nice job 4 the 1st try. More Hits next time maybe.
  21. Division he came from wasn't the only prob. He runs too upright & lacks speed so must head for sidelines to get all the yards he can before running OB.
  22. What is the big knock on him anyhow? I have not been pushing for him but I've seen some hi-lite clips & he looks great. Lots of draft gurus have us taking anyone but. What gives?
  23. Totally with that ! Actually I LOVE IT. I'd say there's a 60 - 70 % chance all three contribute consideralbly, either immediately or by years end.
