  1. We all can conjure up our prognostications but to me the best case is AJ battles it out w/ Nate but wins & looks good enough to carry the load for a while. This would be great as we could then get some compensation for him as Peterman shows enough to be backup next year. I actually like Peterman but I don't believe he's in Allen's league. No telling what AJ has to offer. IMO if you truly study Allen's game tape, The Man can play. No way he doesn't blow away his competition by next year at the latest. FUN TO WATCH - Cant wait!!!
  2. I voted Thurm but just raw RB talent, nobody has more than Shady w/ OJ a close 2nd. If we're going that far what about Larry Kinnebrew
  3. FWIW, I've always believed if we won the first one, the mindset would've been right & allowed us to win at least 1 more, likely the Dallas game.
  4. I felt the same at first but then I watched every game Allen played that I could my eyes on. I think this is different. My eternal hope is at play, I admit. He seems to have some qualities the others didn't display.
  5. I hope your right, Love his tenacity but figured he'd be a backup at guard in year 1 & take over next year.
  6. Really, I can see Edmonds (obvious), Harrison yes as a rotational, Josh, eventually (hopefully sooner than later), but who else do you think will be starting now?
  7. I'll admit, I was a Rosen fan from the get go. He is the best passer at this point. They all have flaws but when you weigh the flaws, priorities may change. For example, Is it better to risk the chance you can improve ones accuracy or risk his lack of mobility &/or propensity to get very injured? Since the pick, I've watched every game Allen played in & now feel alot was very overblown. This kid could be the best we've evr had if it all comes together & I believe his floor is much higher than I first believed. GO JOSH. You've beaten every obstacle you met so far, now lets light up this league!!!
  8. Agree 100%. Ruined my day the we took the wrong Josh, however - Now he's our guy & I'm 100% behind him. Either candidate is a change from what we've done in recent past though. It could've been the safe play or the Home Run. I guess you can't hit a home run if your just trying to get on base tho.
  9. He has Luke Falk rated ahead of Rosen, Allen, Jackson & Rudolph. What's he smokin' ?
  10. Better package to to drop fewer slots. The idea we always go cheap went out w/ Ralph imo. The early Jets move is not common & I would guess Beane didn't see that coming
  11. I hate it when everyone says that . They had to move up from 6. We needed to move up from 22 now 12. It seems likely teams in the top 10 maybe aren't so willing to move down out of top 10.
  12. A trade up is eminent I believe. Anyone's guess how it unfolds though. I think the Bills have 1-2 guys w/ grades appropriate to trade up for. I'd be okay w/ Rosen, Darnold or Mayfield (in that order of preference) as options for a trade-up, otherwise may need to go to tier 2.
  13. I kinda agree but I like Allen, really hope he does well but too afraid for the Bills to try to develop him. Otherwise, I'm in your boat!
  14. I agree, I also remember him tearing us up a couple games when w/ the Jets
  15. I agree this is all Plausible, Possible & Purposeful, BUT not as much for probable. Funny part is w/ so many guesses & Mocks, Somebody is going to be right!
  16. 1. Sam Darnold - Browns 2. Josh Rosen - Bills 3. Josh Allen - Broncos 4. Baker Mayfield - Jets 5. Lamar Jackson Saints Bonus: Bills Pick - Rosen
  17. Where I grew up you were told to be a Jets, Giants or Patriot fan for football & Mets or Yankees for Baseball. Being the ever obedient one I chose the Bills & Yankees. I had to break away somewhere, & my Dad was a fan whom I barely saw so it was our connection.
  18. Yeah, I do ! It was nice to have something to look at when the Bills are all the way at the other end & the Jumbo-Tron was out of decent view.
  19. I think their evaluations are done on a more personal level. Beane has stated how he need to interview prospects to get to know them. I don't think the "opinions" of writers & bloggers influence their character evaluations.
  20. Yeah Man!!!! - Been my guy all along & the more I study him, the more I want him. Go get him Beaner
  21. Man I laugh my butt off every time I watch that. I do agree though that the current vision does appear to be encouraging. I think this group works their butt off & has a common vision, is not afraid to make bold moves & has corrected some of our past scouting in efficiencies, I hope.
  22. I do agree w/ that to an extent. This would place prospects like Rosen & possibly Mayfield above prospects like Jackson. Talent certainly plays a large role as well but an even scale I would prefer the head that can quickly analyze to enable execution at the necessary speed.
  23. There are a million mock drafts, mostly wild assumptions. Some actually put some study into the Bills, other just take wild guesses based on weather. Alot of mocks assume we have interest in Allen just because of his strong arm for passing in bad weather games = just crazy guesses. Other wrongly assume Jackson is either in or out due to He's the same as TT. Most all are works in progress but those are just plain annoying & uninformed. Didn't 5'6" Flutie QB here successfully for a while? My guess is the Beane Team has Rosen & Mayfield rated the highest on their board, Just a Feeling!
