  1. They’re the betting odds favorites to win the SB before making any moves. That’s generally indicative of a very good team, taking into consideration the landscape of the entire league. Do they have room for improvement? Of course. But let’s have some perspective here.
  2. I mean it’s been 12 hours into the offseason. Sheesh.
  3. What team is immune from making some bad signings? The Super Bowl Rams screwed up with Goff. It happens.
  4. I really don't get this mentailty... What makes you think the BRPD would take a moment out of their investigation to speak with an NFL team? A young woman was murdered, that's their priority - not assuaging the fears of an NFL GM because he's wondering if Collins is a value pick in a 5th round. Come on.
  5. I like Fisher too, but from what I've read and seen, his style of play doesn't really match what I think the Bills are moving towards with their OL. There seem to be better fits. Just my two cents.
  6. He's not a suspect, but he's left the draft to speak with police in person. It's not a good thing, either.
  7. Hernandez had an alibi too... I'm not aying Collins had anything to do with this. I'm just saying in the post Hernandez-Rice-Peterson world we live in, I belive teams will exercise more caution. This is just unfortunate timing for Collins (again, if he's innocent).
  8. His attorney can make any claims he wants about Collins' whereabouts, but if the authorities don't formally clear him of any involvement prior to the draft, I could see him not only falling to 50... but going undrafted. What team is going spend a draft pick on him if there's a chance he could be arrested for this in the near future? I'm not saying that because of wasting a pick, I'm talking about the publicity. Collins is actually one of my favorite prospects... Either he gets picked where he was going to get picked, or he goes in between. There is no middle ground here.
  9. I have a gut feeling that the Bills will make a spash in free agency and sign DeMarco Murray. I'm not saying this the right move (tossing loads of cash at RB seems counter to the league's direction), but he seems like the perfect guy for Rex to hitch his wagon to. This move is obviously predicated on him actually seeing free agency (which I think is probable) and CJ Spiller not opting in (which I think is also probable).
  10. I just have to point out that you aren't remotely close on Fox's age. He's 59.
  11. Trade him for "two dominant offensive lineman"? Has that ever happened in the history of the NFL?
  12. ...opens any links or files that have been provided to him for the Jets game? There's just no way, right?
  13. I am not trolling... I seriously think that JBJ becoming public enemy #1 (whethe it was warranted or not) created a fervor that really brought a lot of attention to our situation. And maybe some outside investors that considered buying the team saw what was going on and decided to back off, not wishing to get into a public battle with a community. It's easy to just hate on the guy, but I don't think he was ever really a viable candidate in the first place. In hindsight, he probably went after the wrong franchise at the wrong time.
  14. Nothing is set in stone, but it clearly looks like the Toronto group is against the ropes. How about we actually give a little gratitude to Bon Jovi for a change? We will never know his true intentions; maybe he desperately wanted the team in Toronto, or maybe he had no intentions of moving them and just wanted to own a team. But Bon Jovi - deservedly or not - became a rallying cry for Bills fans across the world. If he hadn't partnered up with the Toronto group, who knows, maybe they would've flown under the radar. I honestly think his inovlement in the process unexpectedly became a catylst for the team staying here.
  15. So for all the naysayers, if the team is sold to someone that keeps the team in Buffalo, what's going to happen to you? Will you go away? Complain about the new owners? We already hear enough complaining about real things; now we have to listen to complaining about hypotheticals?
  16. There is so much incorrect information in the original post that it doesn't really warrant a conversation.
  17. The bottom line here is that the lease was up, Ralph was 94 (at the time), and the Bills essentially had the state and county by the balls. They didn't HAVE to do stadium improvements. They could've funded cheap updates themselves and maintained flexibility for an inevitable future sale. Ralph did right by us, no doubt about it.
  18. Are you trolling? Screw arrogance. He would get a contract worth over $10 million guaranteed. He'd be arrogant to NOT take the job.
  19. You say that as if these Franchise QBs grow on trees. There are probably less than 12 in the whole league, meaning nearly 66% are always on the hunt.
