  1. Who knows, maybe a team will want to move up again and pay handsomely like last year
  2. It is a little naive to think that if there was interest from the Buffalo "players," they haven't already figured out their game plan. These guys are billionaires. They know how this works. The know how old Wilson is. When the time comes, they aren't going to be shocked by the circumstances.
  3. I thought Burton was cut a little while ago? Is he still showing up to work anyway?
  4. I didn't need to watch the segment to know that this was going to be the result, haha
  5. That's a terrible idea. A second round pick for a 31-year-old DE that will be a UFA? We took Alonso in the second round. I know there are no guarantees (i.e. Troupe, Hardy, etc), but clearly, a second round pick is too high. His value right now is probably no higher than a third round pick, IF the Vikings can get anyone to fork that ove.
  6. Why would a guy - seemingly trying to prove he's a starter - sign to be a back up? The playoffs are irrelevant if he's sitting on the bench.
  7. If his suggested bets for Week 5 are any indication, Freeman is already in Minnesota
  8. I'm no expert, but I don't believe they have much value. Sorry...
  9. Believe it or not, if both WRs are on the board, it wouldn't have shocked me if they picked Woods over Hunter. I know we think Hunter was the guy, but Woods is so polished, and we need a guy to start week one. We will never know.
  10. So you are suggesting the Jets are going to package both risk rounders to move up and snag Milliner or a QB? You realize that the Jets would in theory be trading their first rounder this year plus Revis for an unknown? That suggestion is shear insanity.
  11. This may sound crazy, but nothing about Johnny Football's play last year tells me he will be the #1 pick if he decides to come out for the draft.
  12. You would tip your TV if we drafted the consensus #1 CB?? That seems drastic.
  13. Every year, my buddies and I come up with a list of "TV tippers" for the draft. These are players that would be so enraging if we picked them at our selection, the draft party host's TV could potentially be tipped. For someone to be a TV tipper, they need to be considered an extreme reach, poor fit, etc. Obviously, it is all in jest, but makes for humorous discussion. So, at number eight, here are my TV tippers for 2013: QB Ryan Nassib - If they feel like he's the guy, fine. But taking him at eight would be a tough pill to swallow. RB Eddie Lacey - This would certainly be shocking and unexpected, but... TV tipped. WR Keenan Allen - Possesion receivers don't go in the top 10. DE Bjoern Werner - Chris Kelsay just retired. No need to replace him this high. DE Margus Hunt - So so raw. Only team that could afford a high pick on this guy is SF, with their depth and wealth of picks. Those are my only TV tippers right now. Not saying I expect the Bills to select any of these guys at 8, but can you definitively rule any if them out? Maybe Lacey and Hunt, but you never know. **Disclaimer** My 2011 TV Tipper was JJ Watt. I know nothing.
  14. I don't see how he makes it out of the third round. One of the good teams at the bottom (NE, SF, Pittsburgh, Seattle, Indianapolis) will snag him. No doubt.
  15. How about this totally random fact: Erik Flowers was on the Rams for that game!! I have zero recollection of that.
  16. Correct me if I'm wrong, but we can still sign any FAs that were cut (I.e. Barnett and Wilson), and that doesn't factor into the equation. That's why Ozzie Newsome is such a stud: Loses Reed, Kruger, and Ellerbe as UFAs (all pumping up their compensatory pick eligibility), sign Canty, Spears, Dumervil, and Huff, all cut. That's why they are a top notch franchise.
