  1. No, he voted 35 times, krazykat voted 42 times and 1billsfan voted 38.
  2. If you're on the East Coast, you may want to change that recording to midnight, since thats when the game is playing on nfl network.
  3. I guess they had audio of our offensive calls to go along with the video of our D
  4. By NFL access channel, he meant NFL Network. The game will be shown Friday morning at 12 a.m. and Saturday morning at 9 a.m.
  5. All he needs are his legs in the air and he'll have that position mastered.
  6. I have never made the point that people shouldn't express their opinions, and i don't deny that we need improvement. My point was to illustrate to you that there have been a number of posts expressing the fact that our season is over based on 2 series Saturday night. The team needs a lot of improvement, and I am all for the open exchange of opinions and ideas, but to write off the season based on the extremely short period that we were able to see our starters Saturday is absolutely ludicrous! Although I must say, the CHROISE was quite impressive. I was almost blinded by his rugged good looks, incredible charisma, and awesome poise!
  7. I'm currently unemployed, and CA unemployment doesn't pay much, so I live off of my wife!
  8. Then you should check out these threads, and they are just what I was able to track down in the last two or three minutes: http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=69317 http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=69315 http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=69352 http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=69318
  9. Jauron didn't turn him from anything into anything else. Losman's inconsistent play, poor vision and subpar instinct took care of that for him. Losman had a few decent starts at the end of the '06 season, against sorry teams, and when it no longer mattered. These teams were not in contention, and neither were the Bills. These teams played down to the Bills level. He didn't beat anybody's A game, he at most saw their B-, C game. People need to stop making excuses for him and just come to grips with the fact that he had his chances (many more chances than most young QBs could ever dream of seeing) and he did nothing with them. Rare flashes of brilliance over four seasons are not what you can equate to even a mild measure of success, and especially not enough to earn you spot as the leader of a professional franchise. It is time for hime to realize his chances are over and step aside for the next contender.
  10. I concur completely. Preseason has little to no relation to how a team will perform in the regular season (see Indianapolis Colts the last 4 years, combined 4-12). It is just intended to knock off a little of the rust and weed out the non-hackers in the 3rd string.
  11. The original poster did not imply that we can't comment on how poorly the team or individual players may or may not have played in Saturday's game. His point, which I whole-heartedly agree with, is that it is incredibly stupid to think one can gauge performance during the upcoming season by the brief period of time we were able to see the starters. The doom and gloom atmosphere toward the season that has developed around here as a result of two series in the first preseason game is absolutely ridiculous and extremely idiotic. Reading comprehension is a basic part of every public school educational system. It's about reading what is there, not putting words into people's mouths or drawing any additional meaning that isn't present in the statement. You should try it sometime.
  12. Jauron has bungled his career? Last time I checked, Mularkey, TD and JP himself are the ones more responsible for that.
  13. I'm sure it would be much easier to negotiate if he would actually talk to the team. Hard to have talks when someone's not talking...
  14. Edwards faces the Skins A-Game, JP faced the B- or C-game. Should be self-explanatory. No reason to worry in the preseason. If we play that way in the regular season, I'll be right there along with you. But there's no need to have a stroke in the preseason, let alone the first game.
  15. All Favre does for the Bills is put them in contention for a decent showing in the playoffs for this year and maybe next year, then it's back to square one. That is, if he doesn't get all indecisive again. I'd rather develop what we've got to build a team that will be viable in the postseason in the long term, Favre wouldn't get us to the Superbowl, so why even take on his $12 Mil salary to tread water?
  16. Washington came with a blitz, Edwards checked down to his receiver in the flat (who had green to the goal line), but the receiver was mysteriously not there. But the whole point of preseason is to work those things out, so I'm not upset about it, yet.
  17. Wow, it's amazing that you guys can tell all this from 2 series in the first preseason game. The whole purpose of the preseason is to work out the bugs, that is what they are trying to do. Let the coaches (who, by the way, know far more about football than our buddies thurmanthomas and da big man here on TBD) do their jobs. Wait until the end of the season, or at least the actual season, to start pissing and moaning.
  18. My thoughts exactly. Even though he was 7/9, his receivers did some serious work to bring in most of those 7. The completion to Roscoe was horribly underthrown, and the rest were making the receivers stretch out in the middle of the field(just asking for some WR rib injuries if you ask me).
  19. I voted other, because it has never gone away since Edwards second start.
  20. Why such a cynic? It was the first game experience with a new offensive system in the preseason. Give it some time. Maybe try thinking some happy thoughts every once in a while, your life should be far more fulfilling.
  21. He looked mostly solid, but was out of position on a handful of plays. Not surprising for a guy who hasn't taken a snap in a game for about 11 months. I'm sure he'll be ready to play in the upper echelon of linebackers by week 1.
