This is my pick as well. A lot of people say you should not take a RT in the first round, but at this late in the first round and if other targets have already been picked, I say go for it.

In one of the million mock drafts out there, (don't remember which website or news outlet it was from) the Mock had the Bills selecting Broderick Jones T Georgia. The writer went on to say that if the Bills go this route and select a LT prospect in round 1, it would allow them to slide Dion Dawkins from LT to LG: "where he would go from being an above average tackle, to being an elite guard." Does anyone agree with line of thinking, and more importantly, does anyone think this scenario could be on the Bills radar? Thoughts?

Love the idea of Mims in the second round, especially if the Bills nab a top-shelf O-line prospect in the first round.

Just looked it up...Edmunds had 19 reps at his combine....not a big difference, IMO.

And we all know combine results are the be all and end all of how a player will perform on the field... I am hopeful that the Bills can bring in a reasonably priced vet LB, so they don’t have to rely on a rookie in the middle of the D anyway.

Fair point on the Saints record, they have been pretty mediocre.....I'm not advocating that the Bills should spend like the Saints, but all the hand-wringing that goes on around here about wether or not the Bills can afford player X or player Y under the salary cap is a waste of time....if the team truly wants a player, they can find a way to fit that player under the cap.

Beane likes to draft freak athletes, and I think Johnson certainly fits that mold. Obviously, how things shake out in Free Agency will give us a much clearer idea of what positions the Bills will be focusing on in the Draft.
