Seriously? No offense but...The guy got open as well as anybody on this team including Stevie...He's a huge target for a WR...He PRODUCES...How many current Bills players, not just WR's, can you say that about? Like I said previously if the knee is not healing right I could see it...Otherwise this is just stupid...He would only require the minimum tender so the risk is next to nothing...He's a REAL good kid... He will contribute elsewhere if healthy...He's just a good player...He may not have the measureables, and that's why he went undrafted...But he's a good player coming from a team with very few good players...Just makes no sense to me at all...

This really make zero sense to me...The only possible explanation would be if the knee was no responding at all...Otherwise how do you not tender this Kid? He's a great Kid...He's been productive for his position as the #3 WR...He's REAL tall for a WR...And coming off the ACL, it's only going to take the minimum tender to retain him...This is a REAL head-scratcher to me...

Not to cherry pick from your whole post...But Alex Smith is definitely a clear upgrade over Fitz purely because he demonstrated that there is an NFL Offense suited to his abilities...Oh...And the fact that Smith has thrown only 32 INT's in his last 48 games compared to Fitz's 64 INT's in his last 55 games...Smith is a better athlete, a better scrambler...Smith is no Matt Stafford, but he does have a better arm than Fitz... I'm not even saying Smith is all that...But clearly better than Fitz? Yes he is...

Exactly... We are trying to replace the QB who Ranked 27th in Total QB Rating last season, and lead the entire NFL in turnovers (INT's plus fumbles lost) over the past three years combined...How in the world can anyone think it's going to be that tough to do better than Fitz? Better is not necessarily that good...

You and Buddy must get along great...Seeing as though a couple years ago Buddy believed a CB (who many believed was probably better suited at FS) was a bigger need than QB in the 2nd Round...Which caused him to pass on Dalton and Kaepernick...Obviously Buddy must not have felt Kaep, or Dalton, were future Starters in the NFL...Seeing as though all it would have taken was a 2nd...But lets assume that was not the case, and Buddy liked both of them...He still talked himself out of the possibility of taking one because he saw (incorrectly) bigger needs elsewhere...Then Buddy thought a speed WR was a bigger need than a QB in the 3rd Round last year...That caused him to pass on Russell Wilson...And Buddy even admits he liked Wilson, he just thought WR was a bigger need, and that the 3rd was a little too early... You can find a million excuses not to take a QB...Especially if you wrongly believe there are other positions of greater need when the QB's on your roster suck-out-loud...Or you can see what the kid QB does well, and have the necessary determination that you can Coach him up...And if that does not work, and the kid QB flops, you do it again till you get a good one...It's really that simple...

Astro I appreciate all your effort...But Bro...Putting up a Bills Mock that does not have a QB taken in the 1st 3 rounds is completely ignoring some glaring reality...They will take a QB by no later than the 3rd, and chances are they'll take one with their 1st pick (I'm not saying that pick will necessarily be at #8 though)... Also...Milliner will go in the Top 7...He's clearly the #1 CB prospect, and that means something in almost any Draft...If Joe Haden can go #7 overall you better believe that Milliner will do the same or better... Keep up the work though Astro!!!

I'll go on record now...I'd take 0-16 to 2-14 if Manziel, Bridgewater, or McCarron was on the other end... I know some folks don't like one or two of those three...But I like all of them...And I would be AOK with any one of the three...

Exactly... I keep reading that Fitz was not the biggest problem, and the Defense was worse, or he had inferior targets, blah, blah, blah...How about they all sucked-out-loud? The QB situation gets more attention, as well it should, due to the importance of having a really good one...But saying QB is The Bills biggest need does not mean we don't need serious help on Defense, or at WR as well...Everyone knows that...

I agree with this take... Too bad Metz had to bring up the whole call-return stuff...It left the door open for folks to paint his comments as anything other than the obvious truth... On the other hand here is a long-time Bills player and ex-Coach who put in a call...Marrone owes Metz nothing, but he could have done the classy thing and called the guy back...

Oh good grief where to start... You do realize that Manziel, as a redshirt Freshman nonetheless, averaged 33.4 pass attempts per game last year. Right? And he completed 68% of those passes...Sure he'll take off and run a lot...But to say he's only a run 1st QB is WAY off...He can do both...And he can do both VERY well...Manziel is an incredible passer considering it was his 1st year as a starter...If he continues to improve in that area the kid will be the next Montana...He has that kind of potential...
