  1. TT has outperformed my expectations from the QB position this season...Granted my expectations were not high... The Defense and ST's have underachieved...Especially considering what I expected Rex to bring on D... Add injuries (especially Taylor being out 2 games) and penalties...you get 5-6... I think TT is the QB in 2016...I really doubt anything else will happen barring an absolute meltdown over the last 5 games...
  2. The Bills are simply better at finding ways to lose than rising up and figuring out how to win... I actually thought Rex would make a difference in this area...He has not...And the beat goes on... You know...Because it's Buffalo...
  3. derekbrower is hardcore...
  4. No question those were 2 BIG depth losses...
  5. Trading Ryan for Whaley seems dumb...But we'll see...It's all about how they re-align...I think though, if that's what happens, Rex is going to get firm control of the football ops...And that makes me beyond nervous...
  6. I certainly hope Whaley does not take the fall for Rex's inadequacies...That would be terrible IMHO...This roster has talent...Whaley has not been perfect, but he has been better than average...If Rex stays, which I assume he will, then keep them all together and let them build on what they started...Rex will be a much bigger issue in the future than Whaley will...At least that's how I see it...
  7. I was VERY hopeful concerning Ryan... I'm not-so-much any longer... I think there have been obstacles for Rex...Injuries and such...What NFL team does not have to deal with some adversity though? Anyway...Over-all, I do think this team has underachieved...It's the inconsistencies in performances, especially on Defense, that are disappointing me...The Offensive inconsistencies were expected...But this Defense was supposed to be the team's strength...And it's been really up and down...Hold Brady to 20 points in NE then go on the road and get steamrolled by Alex Smith...Play decent on Defense vs Jacksonville but give-up a nine minute drive to start the 2nd half...then allow the game deciding score when you finally get the lead back and you have to stop them...Miss a key tackle vs the Giants that results in the game defining TD...Play terrible at home vs.Cincy and NE...Again...AT HOME...We were told Cincy was basically unstoppable...And no question they are very good...But Houston figured out a way to slow them WAY down...in Cincy!...Rex comes up with nothing at home...Just nothing...And it's not really about being a top 5 Defense again...It's a stop here and a stop there that would have made a HUGE difference in the season...Rex's promise to us was a top NFL defense...He has really fallen WAY short in that area... I certainly give him a pass on a lot of the Offensive woes...The Bills do not have a top QB...Taylor is still learning, and he missed two games...I think overall the hiring of Roman is the best thing Rex could have done for this Offense...The problems come when they are not gashing the opponents on the ground and are forced to rely too much on TT...But again, to an extent, that was expected... The problems with penalties and game management have been another mark against Rex...I don't expect him to be an Offensive expert...I do expect him to see the Bills have terrible problems when urgency is necessary on Offense... So...In summary...Not happy at all with Rex...If I was Pagula I would fire him after the season unless he wins out and makes the Playoffs...But I do recognize the problems that will cause...So I'm not calling for him to be fired...I know that's not going to happen...I'm just saying that's what I would do...I thought Rex could be the kind of HC that inspires big wins...That quite simply has not happened...Where exactly are the Bills going if they can't beat even decent teams at Home? The Bills went into this season with many "experts" saying that they have one of the most talented rosters in the league from 1-53...Rex has done little to nothing with that talent on the field...And quite honestly he's gotten better QB play than most of us expected...Big thumbs down for Rex to this point...BIG thumbs down...
  8. This team is going nowhere...
  9. Pretty much this...
  10. Only the Bills can get a 15 yard sack on a 2 pt conversion try...
  11. It's like he has totally forgot he has the ability to run...
  12. Well... It was fun while it lasted I guess...
  13. Just watched it again...In super-slow about 10 times... The OG does appear to move a split second before the ball was snapped...But that was so close...It's like a fraction of a second... So...you're correct...I doubt very much Pack fans will see it that way tomorrow if they lose this game...
  14. Terrible whistle on that play!!! That may have cost the Pack the game right there...Rogers was never in danger and knew he had them... Just awful...
  15. The ball was late, and that allowed the safety to get over...
  16. I'm not nervous about the injuries because I don't think they'll beat KC anyway...This team is just not good enough because even when they play really well they still do stupid, stupid, things and make BIG mistakes (see McLovin...Graham missing the tackle...etc)...The Bills QB is not good enough and teams have either figured out how to take away his biggest asset, or his knee is just too damaged to do it anymore...Plus he's got the new injury now...I think regardless of what folks say about TT being this calm, cool, leader dude...that 4th Quarter proved he does not have a good enough grasp on how to run this Offense efficiently on his own...Plus the play calling sucked for a good part of the game...As good as Roman is at times, he's brutal on 3rd down and short calls. That ball to Shady was late...It allowed the safety to get over and just mess with the pass enough...The under-throw to Hogan was key as well...That's an easy 7, maybe 14 points if both balls are on target...This team simply never cashes in enough to beat a team like the Pats who rarely beat themselves...You have to make those plays...Period...Almost does not cut it...The Bills have 15 years worth of almosts... Some Bills fans say they did not expect to beat the Pats anyway, so it's no big deal...I say...until they beat the Pats does it really matter anyway? They're not good enough to be anything more than barely relevant if they can't beat that team...Especially when they play as well as they did vs Brady and Gronk... As usual I was embarrassed by this teams overall performance...One side of the ball plays well...but the other side sucks...Nothing new there...The good news is I'm used to it...As far as injuries...S*** happens in the NFL...So..
  17. Plus the whistle was before the catch which should have eliminated the sideline interference call... It was SO obvious the Bills DB's peeled off when they heard the whistle...I have no idea why Gruden and Tirico completely ignored that fact repeatedly...
  18. Probably...But TT was really hurting...I have zero faith in EJ any more...But Taylor looked really uncomfortable...And that effects decision making too...
  19. No...It's throw the freaking ball down field...there's no time left, you're down by a TD, and you've got to go 60 plus yards...You have to press..You know...like actual NFL QB's do...Do you actually watch any NFL games? You think Brady is throwing a 2 yard pass in that situation? Give me a break...
  20. Maybe so...But a lot of good it did them...
