Jaron knew a loss to the 49's was going to be the last straw. He is dead coach walking. It also makes the Toronto match up with Miami meaningless, as well as the division games this season which is really a problem. The Bills are out of it. There is no motivation to play the rest of the season. Much more than a game was lost today.

The problem is in the owner's box and it works it's way down from there.

Someone should post a poll. Should the bills fire Jaron right now and appoint an interim HC or do they wait until the end of the season?

Right now the title appears to be just a title. Probably a higher pay scale too. Levy was a special teams coach prior to becoming a head coach.

Didn't they promote him a year or so ago? Why not let him hire an assistant special teams coach or two and give him more responsibility on the OL or DL Or Offensive coordinator or Quality control coach. We need him to fire the rest of the team up. Jaron is just not that dynamic. Make Jaron more of a head coach administrator or better yet. Promote Jaron to VP of Football with Brandon as the overall VP and get him off the sideline entirely. It's not like he actually does or says anything on the sideline anyway. I like the fact that they played Chambers last week but I hated that they played him at Guard where he was certain to get overpowered. Move Peters to guard and move Chambers to Rt and Walker back to LT. That did not look bad in the pre season. at least they could run then. Peters would make a great guard. Make Peters a promise to get a contract after the season. Honestly I don't know if Dockery is as much of a disaster as some people think because we don't get to isolate line play on TV. Someone needs to sit him down though and tell him what the score is. Hardy appears to have an injury let's see Steve Johnson play some this week. If Hardy can go some then just use him in the Red zone.

New England has plenty of injuries. Just as many as Buffalo has.

The Bills will beat KC. They are not in our division. Score prediction 35-10

They are desperate for pass rushers either LB or DE or even a DT like Jenkins. The need A Center and a Guard just as bad.

More Fred Jackson on the field in any capacity is a good idea. Get more playmakers on the field!

That is true enough. It was also obvious. There are more systemic problems with the Bills that were highlighted by this total domination by the Banged up Pats. The point that i was trying to make is that we could easily finish 4 th in the AFC east and continue to finish 4th for the forseeable future.

The Patriots are still the Patriots The Jets are better The Dolphins are Better The Bills have not improved over last year. The Bills coaching is the 4 th best in the AFC East. The Bills Front office is the weakest in the AFC East. It's time for new leadership. The Bills were out of contention in this Game very early. They never really challenged the Pats until the last TD drive. The 4th quarter domination of the Bills on the Patriots touchdown drive was complete. You do not see that in the NFL that often.

Several of you made some great points here. Edwards and Hardy need to develop some compatibility or this season is not going to end well for the Bills. Our D is not reliable and our running game is not going to get better behind this line. Edwards and the Receivers need to outscore our opponents to win consistantly.

I agree he is awful. But Edwards fumbled too. I might bench Royal and look for a replacement on the wire. My guess is we are stuck with him this year.

Coaching and play calling was pretty disgusting too. Trent needed to audible out of a run on 3rd and 3 against an 8 man line. We lost three yards they took the next posession in for a score. God we could use a tight end!

Hopefully they respect Edwards enough to keep him off his back. Edward has taken a lot of punisment this year. The OL has not blocked well in the run game either.

Hardy Agreed Royal Agreed Entire OL not good Entire DL not good D in General looked really bad, although Mitchell came to play. Secondary looked worse that it played because the Defensive front got absolutely no pressure. Blitz not used or executed effectively. Coaches on Offense and Defense were badly outcoached Losman Advocates can stop now. He has not progressed at all. Peters will not get a new contract. Bills are not going anywhere until they improve play at center and guard. Tight End is awful but some ok teams don't have a TE. This is not yet a great team. On a scale of 1 to 5 they are a 3.5. They beat 3 bad teams and 1 good team so far. There is some promise here but they are 6-7 players away From making a serious run. They have a good shot at a playoff berth if Edwards stays healthy but that is a big if. Edwards has taken a pounding in the first 5 games. He will not finsh the season if they do not protect him better than they have. No Edwards - no playoffs. We will know when they play San Diego if they are ready to competa against the really good teams in the NFL. They have too weeks to heal their wounds hopefully Edward's Concussion is a mild one if there is such a thing.

They get paid more when they play for Edwards?

Hardy needs to get into the weight room in the off season and get a lot stronger than he is. Those five foot nine corners are making him look like a wus.

If Peters does not improve his play based on the year to date he can forget about a new contract. Right now he is fairly paid for what he does maybe overpaid.

Hardy's effectiveness this year may be limited to the end zone corner route and the sideline route. He seems to be leary of the hit from behind. Hardy did not get much separation even in college. He is not fast and he is not quick. He is a tall guy who can get off the ground. The guys who can go over the middle are the smaller quicker guys like Reed and Parish and Evans for that matter who can get separation and than make a quick move as soon after they catch the ball to avoid the punishment form the DB's In the NFL Safeties hit like college DE's and cornerbacks are as stong as college linebackers. These guys are bench pressing 400lbs and squatting 600 and the are like 5'9' tall and weigh 190-205 running 4.4 40 times. Hardy quite frankly looks scared of these cannon balls waiting to lodge themselves into his spine. Football is not basketball it's not a contact sport it's a collision sport. It might be a better idea to play Johnson more between the 20's and bring in Hardy for sideline patterns and the end zone corner routes. As of the last game he does not appear ready for NFL contact.

We are all glad he is back. I just don't want him in the lineup until he is completely in shape and his presence is an addition not a subtraction. He may be the best athlete on the line but he may be more of a detriment if he makes a mental error. We had no penalties on offense last week. That was huge.
