  1. Peters has been out of football for a long time. He had surgery. Peters stock is dropping like a stone. Buffalo's O line in the last 2 games looks better than it has since the super bowl teams. I do not want to see this chemistry destroyed by a talented but selfish player. I think it's 50 -50 that Peters may be done with football.
  2. Zonta, I already predicted he will report by next Wednesday but you can second it if you want to!
  3. Shoebel followed that prefromance with a below average year. Players take the money and dissappear. No incentive to excel.
  4. Good point. The holdout is not costing Parker a dime. Parker will make a great living regardless of Peters new contract or if he ruins Peters career. Others have made the point that Brandon is a rookie and a bean counter. Brandon is Wilson's intermediary. Parker is negotiating with Ralph Wilson not with Brandon. Parkers annual income is chump change to Wilson. Wilson actually knows how to create wealth. Wilson also has the fortitude to tell Parker and Peters to jump off the nearest bridge. Remember he rejected the collective bargining agreement. Wilson is not about to let Parker or Peters push him around. Wilson is very willing to end Peters career. It will be his story to tell at the next meeting of the Billionaires club. I can see all those guys laughing now. ..."let me tell you about the time that this free agent to pro bowler hired a fancy agent tried to hold me up with 3 years left on his deal ....ha ha ha ... what did you do to him Ralph?..... Now he is running a 6 bay garage in Alabama ha ha ah ah ah . No sh-- ha ha ha ha. It will be a story that people will tell long after he is gone. Like the Lombardi stories that people tell 40 years later It's a better story than willing the Super bowl. Go ahead Parker make Ralph's day.
  5. Your thesis has increased credibility if he does not show up by Wednesday of next week. His value to other teams would also start to decline at that point as well.
  6. It's a good question but I would not worry about it until about Wednesday of next week. Peters and his agent will throw in their cards because they violated the first rule of negotiations. They negotiated from a position of weakness. Just remember I called it exactly right when it happens.
  7. Yes. The Bills should take the lead in tough negotiations with Agents. No one else seems to have the fortitude. ( I would like to use another phrase here but I would be censored)
  8. No agent calls a press conference to state his tactics did not work.
  9. My Prediction --Peters will be in camp by next week Wednesday. He can't afford to risk being placed on the PUP list. That might happen if he shows up the week before the season. This guy is not going to lose a game check. If he does not not show up within 10 days? well then we have a head case on our hands and we are really better off without him at all.
  10. Actually I really like Tom Brady. Went from a guy who, "had no arm" Any of you remember that rap on him? To the greatest QB of all time. I wish i had his looks, his rings and his GF. Having said that. He will get his. This quote would be blown up and pasted on the Bills locker room wall and on the entrance to the stdium an in the Program when the Pats come to visit. This year we just might have the Offense and the Defense to make him regret he ever wrote it!
  11. Play calling and QB play certainly help the run game. I really liked the way our line seemed to be in sync. No penalties. The move to Walker to LT gives us more power on that side. Not sure if its the scheme or the personnel but they really look crisp. I would keep this combination together as long as it functions like last week. The line was better as a unit than we would expect from the preceived individual talent of it's members. If other players are signed or show up I would not be in a great hurry to demote any member of this line as long as they show the cohesion they did last week.
  12. Nice job by the entire staff. OL played really together. I like the job they did. I think this line is jelling nicely they looked good all night no matter which combo was in. The team was solid all around but that first offense reall had their timing down. I would like to see this OL stay together for the season. Clearly this group is on the same page.
  13. I have not been a Royal fan but he put it together last night! Great game! He could be breaking out.
  14. His brief career may be over. Not For Long.= NFL
  15. I am going to be very angry if they cave in to Peters and his agent. I would rather they play the season without them and lose every game. Go Bulls! no holdouts on their team!
  16. Agreed but it appears some here would like the Bills to roll over on Peters. He needs to be in camp and now or lets move on without him.
  17. Peters also could have mental issues. The Mike Williams syndrome. Maybe he really does not like football just the cash. Peters had great athletic ability but no one drafted him. Maybe there was a reason that not one drafted him?
  18. The fact for all of you self declared but unemployed genuis's is the Bills just made a move with a key player to play the near and possibly far future without Jason Peters. Wall bang all you like but thats the way it is. My vision is much closer to a reality than yours is.
  19. Ralph Wilson is the owner of this team. Two years is a long time to him. He makes the decisions not you.
  20. The Bills are preparing to play without Jason Peters for the forseeable future that is the fact.
  21. If you give every player on the Bills what he wants you will never win anything.
