I find the original article's wording kind of funny. It says at the very least Buffalo will put in a claim for him. If it is a sure bet that Buffalo puts a claim in is it not a sure bet that he will be a Buffalo Bill?

Is it me or is this one of the most oddest games to watch. It seems like we are getting killed on D, yet we have only given up 7 points. I am just going to go ahead and chalk it up to luck.

I get the fact that they had two weeks to prepare, and that was huge, but honestly what kind of team overlooks an opponent heading into the bye week...a trap week the week before the bye week? Not buying it. Especially when the team is a Super Bowl contender in a division with another Super Bowl contender where every win counts.

Isn't Detroit 1-5? So one game better than us...in an inferior division no less.

I will say one thing, I am much more comfortable after yesterday than I was before in passing on a QB in Round 1 if Mallet and Luck both stay in school. (IMO the only 2 worthy of being taken at the top of Round 1)

Watching Moats yesterday, a 6th round pick, and seeing how much better he was is pretty embarassing for the former #11 pick in the draft IMO. Maybin should watch the tape of Moats. Even if he was initially blocked he kept fighting towards the QB, not going down the field in a straight line, away from the QB. Of course there are many factors to this, like the fact that Moats is older, more experienced, stronger, and likely much smarter, but the point still remains.

Some pretty good D by the Browns too...they were getting at him.

Chan is starting to live up to his reputation...maximizing the talents of his players by playing to their strengths. I think it's time for Ralph to open up his wallet and bring in a good, experienced 3-4 defensive coordinator in here.

Sorry Bill, I know you've got a hard on for Whitner but Byrd was just as bad in this game, maybe even worse. Just abysmal in pass coverage. Abysmal in his run defense...sadly I'm not too sure either of these guys fit in the 3-4...
