The Jets won that trophy so long ago half their fan base wasn't even born. The bills 2 AFL championships a few years earlier are just as valid. In football the past does not necessarily predict the future (SAINTS). If you were a Jet fan, would you be posting on their board the teams overall record? That way the fans would know to stop wasting their time, because their overall record dictates the future is hopeless.

I understand that Lee is pretty much a waste on this roster, but a 3rd round pick is not proper compensation. Its damn hard to fill the hole we create with a 3rd rounder. My issue with the chat room is that in order to follow the discussion you cannot be following the actual game. I like to review the thread during long commercials, halftime etc.

There are negative side effects to some of those proposals. 3) I would not be a fan of adding any more games outside of the weekends. I have season tickets and travel nearly 6hours x2 to attend games. This would make more games that I'm paying for and not able to attend. More games, and games played during the week would dilute 'The brand'. Resulting in each game being less important and saturating the market. 5) They are adding more games, not more teams. I like how making the playoffs actually means something.
