Actually, the Bible (specifically Revalations) doesn't mention anything about the "Rapture." The Rapture was the invention on a 19th century Scottish preacher who's ideas got blended into popular, contemporary christian literature. Thank you St. Joe's Religious education . . .

I also agree that the win against Houston was not an upset. What WAS an upset was the following week's victory at Pittsburgh, the #1 seed. IIRC, we handed their a$$es to them on a platter, 24-3 . . .

If he is indeed trying to push a socialist agenda, it's because he feels that a socialist state would better serve the entire population of the USA as opposed to free market capitalism. In his own mind, he's not trying to ruin the country, he's trying to improve it. I'm not going to say I agree with the agenda (I'm a good little capitalist), but don't fall for the hyperbole of the "shouters" (on both sides) who simply try to destroy anything on the other side.

And that's the problem with owners like Jerry Jones. He doesn't have the best interests of the league as a whole in mind. His primary objective is what's best for Jerry Jones. He will be much happier with 3-4 elite teams and a bunch of scrub teams so his Cowboys can with 15 of the next 25 SB's. Why compete on a even basis when Jones and other azzholes like Dan Snyder can ruin the league to satisfy their own egos?

I originally had high hopes, and I hate to base predictions on pre-season play . . . That said, they have looked God-awful. I can't see us with more than 6 wins.
