  1. And kicked their assess!!!
  2. Supposedly, it was consensual. If it was then it's not something I'm too concerned about. I'm not worried about it happening again.
  3. If the Bills can get him in the 7th round I'd be ok with it but ewwwwwww!!! In May 2003, Washington was convicted of having sex with a relative that multiple NFL and college sources say was his 15-year old biological sister. The act was consensual, according to his college coaches and two NFL scouts, who spoke to him about the incident. The sister does not wish to speak publicly on the case, according to Washington’s agent, who added that the siblings are now on good terms and talk often. Washington received five years probation and did not serve jail time. It appears he's learned from his mistakes and he was upfront about it with teams at the combine. I'm unsure that it is a character flaw to keep the Bills from drafting him. All the mags I have put him at 7th round. The more recent internet reports have him at 2nd to third round. Here's one. 03/23/10 - Most athletes at Pro Day, held midday Monday at Abilene Christian University, were hoping for eye-popping sprints, leaps and displays of strength. Tony Washington just wanted to be a tenth of second, or two, faster. The former ACU two-time All-American lineman came back to the Wildcats practice field to improve on the 5.2-second time in the 40-yard dash that he ran recently at the NFL combine in Indianapolis. “My 40 time was subpar,” Washington said. Running against a light wind, Washington said he was timed in 5.09 seconds. He ran slower with the wind. “That’s crazy,” he said, more at ease than most of the athletes. “I did everything I could” to impress NFL teams at the combine and at Pro Day, Washington said. “Draft day will take care of draft day. Everything else is in God’s hands.” Washington, who stands 6-foot-7 and weighs 310 pounds, said he has heard talk he could be a second- or third-round pick. TSN War Room has him being undrafted. Bottom line: Washington has ideal athleticism, long arms and the size to be an NFL left tackle. On film, he reminds us of the Titans' Michael Roos and free agent Seth Wand while they were in college. Roos has become an elite NFL left tackle, while Wand is out of the league. Washington could go either way. He is an intriguing prospect because of his potential, but there is no doubt he is a project. While Washington could be a future starter, off-field issues will prevent him from being drafted.
  4. He's passionate about winning, that is as it should be!! 72.5% Dumbass!! I think that he's already got the guys buying into his system. He's making it a much more professional environment and even though the guys thought it was cool under Jauron I think they realize they need to do a lot more to win. Chansaw is taking away the fluffy feel to the team and replacing it with a hard work attitude and it seems that's what the guys really want.
  5. If the rumors about Lynch not being popular with teammates are true, (don't ask for a link I read it somewhere before during this offseason) then they will probably trade him while trying to build a better locker room dynamic. I'd take a third or a low fourth. A third or fourth could be spent on a RB that would be, most likely, as good as Lynch was last year and wouldn't have the baggage. JMO
  6. If the gun is licensed this is a non-issue other than a very serious brain cramp.
  7. I'm not going to put this in it's own thread today until there is confirmation from JW, Lori or TG. It is interesting though and it does come from Schefter. Sam Bradford -QB- Player April 1 - 5:17 pm et The Buffalo Bills are very close to reaching a deal for the Rams number one draft pick. Buffalo currently picks ninth in the first round this year and the Bills are also offering CB Leodis McKelvin and S Donte Whitner . The Rams are looking for another low round draft pick or another player to go along with the deal. The Rams ranked 25th against the pass last year. Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter Related: Bills I don't like the idea of losing McKelvin because I'm not sure the Bills have a reliable number two CB or a KR with his abilities. I wonder if the scRams are angling for Marshawn Lynch as the other player? Bradford is a dream come true at QB, it seems right now, but it's still risky to give up that much for one player. If they have to give up another low round draft pick I hope it's in next years draft. April Fools Jackasses!!
  8. They already signed a 3-4 DE. This guy comes from a 4-3. If they get another 3-4 DE I think it will be through the draft.
  9. I don't know, he isn't as NFL ready as he should be, JMO.
  10. Link Aprils I'd like to shower with; #1 #2 #3 #4 #5
  11. At least they qualify it as a possible AF joke.
  12. Unless the Bills trade Lynch I think Spiller won't happen. Saffold might happen, but some guides list him as a G. I don't see why he couldn't be a LT. From what I've read Houston is a 3 technique player so I doubt it. He will also likely be gone by the Bills pick in the 3rd round. I'm doubtful on Levi Brown. He was a one year starter and Nix doesn't seem to like those guys. Worilids projects as an outside LB in a 3-4 scheme and could be a possibility based on my readings but could be gone by the fifth round. JMO based upon my research.
  13. I hope it's an April Fools joke.
  14. I heard that too. People are gonna think this is an AF joke but from what I've read it's true; Just found a .
  15. I think Gaither wants to stay in the Washington area and that's why the Deadskins seem to be the frontrunner.
  16. Robinson Crusoe, is that you?
  17. Bernie Kosar had a side arm throwing motion but the players have gotten bigger since then. (I don't know how Kosar's throwing motion compares to Tebow though.) IIRC, Jim Kelly would host some NFL QB's every summer for a BBQ at his place and they'd have a competition to see who could throw a football through a hanging tire. Supposedly Kosar was the only one who could do it consistently. I'm not using that in support of Tebow, just making an observation.
  18. I'm thinkin Clausen doesn't get past Seattle, Cleveland or Oakland. JMO
  19. Dollars to donuts that one of these guys ends up wearing a Bills jersey in TC. I'm going with DE Derrick Morgan with the #1 pick. It wouldn't surprise me though to see Demaryius Thomas taken if he's still there in round 2. Linky Georgia Tech underclassmen RB Jonathan Dwyer, S Morgan Burnett, and DE Derrick Morgan held a joint press conference today announcing that they would follow fellow Tech junior WR Demaryius Thomas into the 2010 NFL Draft. Rounds are based on projections from; Fanball.com Pro Football Draft, Pro Football Weekly Draft Guide, TSN Draft, Pro Football Draft and Pro Football Weekly Draft Preview. RB Jonathan Dwyer - Projected 1st to 3rd round. More on Dwyer from TSN War Room; Bottom line: As expected even before the 2009 college season, Dwyer decided to leave school early. There is little doubt about Dwyer's elite physical talent, but, after playing in Georgia Tech's option offense, he will have to develop the skills required of a pro RB. We love his aggressive and physical running style, which enables him to gain yards after contact and make big plays. While he must learn the nuances of running outside the tackles, the vision and cutting ability he has shown make us confident he can learn how to be productive on outside runs. For Dwyer to become a three-down back, he must compete harder and use better technique in pass protection, and he must improve his route running and hands. Though running backs who played fullback in an option offense usually scare us a ton, Dwyer's rare physical talent, excellent playing strength and exceptional inside running ability make us confident he can do what it will take to become an elite back. S Morgan Burnett - Projected 2nd to 4th round. More on Burnett from TSN War Room; Bottom line: Burnett has the athleticism, speed and explosiveness to test well at the NFL Scouting Combine, but he has a long way to go before he will be a consistent starting safety. He should be able to contribute on special teams while he adjusts to the NFL. DE Derrick Morgan - Consensus first round. PFW Draft Preview calls him a top 15 pick. More on Morgan from TSN War Room; Bottom line: Morgan is a junior who came out early for the 2010 draft. From everything we have seen, he is ready to contribute as a rookie. He is athletic with a rare combination of foot quickness, explosiveness, playing speed, size and playing strength. He could be effective as a defensive end in a 4-3 or 3-4, or as a rush linebacker in a 3-4. Morgan will be a top-15 pick and will become a productive defender, even a Pro Bowler. WR Demaryius Thomas - Projected 1st or 2nd round. More on Demaryius Thomas from TSN War Room; Bottom line: Thomas is a junior who came out early and will be flying up draft boards as teams get the chance to evaluate him. He is a big receiver with outstanding athleticism who shows the ability to make big plays -- it is amazing that a receiver playing in an option offense has been able to average over 24 yards per catch. However, he will need work on his fundamentals -- especially route-running, catching and defense recognition -- after having played in a rudimentary passing attack. Thomas might not be well known now, but by the time the draft arrives his name will be on everyone's lips as one of the top receivers available and a likely top-10 pick. He will eventually become an elite NFL receiver. He reminds us Calvin Johnson with worse hands but better explosiveness and speed. More about them; Four Georgia Tech players going pro Posted Jan. 11, 2010 @ 1:14 p.m. ET By PFW staff Last week, Georgia Tech junior WR Demaryius Thomas announced his decision to forgo his final season and enter the 2010 NFL draft, and three of his teammates followed suit on Monday afternoon. Joining Thomas in the draft pool will be DE Derrick Thomas, RB Jonathan Dwyer and FS Morgan Burnett. Highest rated amongst the group is Morgan, a PFW All-American and the ACC Defensive Player of the Year. He tallied 55 tackles, 18½ for loss and 12½ sacks this fall, pushing himself into first-round consideration based on his polished skill set and consistent effort. Though not viewed as elite sack artist, he is considered a relatively safe selection. Both Dwyer and Thomas also earned first-team All-ACC recognition. Pacing the Yellow Jackets' triple-option, Dwyer toted 235 times for 1,395 yards (5.9-yard average) and 14 touchdowns. He fits the profile of a bruising runner, and could emerge as the top big back available. Meanwhile, Thomas also benefited from head coach Paul Johnson's offense, taking advantage of single coverage and hauling in 46 receptions for 1,154 yards (25.1) and eight touchdowns. A big, thick receiver lacking blazing speed, Thomas projects as a No. 2 receiver at the next level. Of the four, Burnett stood to benefit most from returning to school. A team captain, he logged 85 tackles, four pass breakups and four interceptions this fall, bringing his career interception total to 14. He is considered a mid-round talent at this time.
  20. Jay Rubeo is rumored to be negotiating a contract with the Bills for the starting QB job. Sorry.
  21. The last thing a college HC wants to do, IMO, is take an uber successful college player and start screwing with his throwing motion. If it aint broke, don't fix it.
  22. At this time of year that's a very bad sign, don't think they will take him, just sayin. If the Bills are going to take Tebow then RT is the most important position on the line for them.
