  1. You are correct. As I said before I could've sworn she was 15 when he took those pictures. I guess he's not a child molester. I concede.
  2. What does that have to do with the people who depend on them? The point is a lot of innocent victims were caught up in this thing. I don't believe that everybody in this was in it for Greed unless you believe all investors are in it for greed.
  3. The trust came in the form of the friends who were suggesting him. After taking a look at his client list I don't think it's too stupid to want to get into it. You also ignored my point about the pension funds.
  4. Way to go! I question the Lynch jersey, I would've gone with Tasker, but it's your kid!
  5. The AOC in NYS is 17. If a man sleeps with a woman 17 in NYS it's not child molestation it may be morally incorrect but it's not child molestation. Link On March 18, 1993, a team of psychological investigators at Yale-New Haven Hospital cleared Woody Allen of sexually molesting Dylan. The findings, which were the results of repeated interviews with Allen, Farrow, Dylan, the child's psychologist, and household servants, were not made public. However, Allen's lawyers reported that the videotape on which Farrow had based the accusation was a result either of the child's imagination or of someone else's manipulation.
  6. I could have sworn the pictures of her nude were taken when she was 15 but everything I've found on the net says Mia found them when Soon Yi was 21 and they had been taken recently.
  7. (sigh), the union can stand up for a player that they feel has been handled badly. There is no reason they can't. Link From an article dated May 29th 2009; MINNEAPOLIS -A federal judge denied on Friday a request by the NFL Players Association to put the suspensions of five players on hold while the case over use of a banned substance is being appealed. However, NFLPA attorney Jeffrey Kessler said it doesn't necessary mean the players will miss any games at the start of the 2009 season because there could be action at the appellate court level before the season starts. Further, he said, U.S. District Judge Paul Magnuson has sent some issues surrounding the suspensions of Minnesota Vikings defensive tackles Kevin Williams and Pat Williams back to the state courts.
  8. You reached waaaay to far on that one.
  9. I figured it out as soon as I read it; (In my best Oscar LeRoy) Jackass!
  10. She should be left with a 1999 Hyundai Accent. So anytime a broker does well a person should pull their money out because it's obviously a scam? How many people do you know outside of your industry that are attuned to investment scams? It wasn't greed it was trust. Just out of curiosity, are there fewer butts on the beaches now? IIRC, some people were approached but by friends who were investing with him at the time. When you look at the list of investors you'll see banks, rich people, charitable foundations, pension funds and other people who's life savings were taken away. The people involved in a pension fund don't invest their money directly with Madoff. They gave their money to the fund and let the fund invest it for them. Saying that only the GREEDY were harmed is a ridiculous statement. I feel sorry for a lot of these people. I'd think that investment professionals would realize that a lot more than just rich investors were scammed.
  11. Just like that oldadage, err somewhat new adage ok, minutes old adage; Diapers is change.
  12. What he said. You can say that but you'd be wrong. But Gene Upshaw, the head of the NFL players union, sent an even more powerful message when he released a statement in support of the commissioner's right to make such suspensions. Goodell also unveiled a new personal conduct policy for all NFL players, and Upshaw endorsed the policy. "The NFL Players Association and the Player Advisory Council have been discussing this issue for several months," Upshaw said. "We believe that these are steps that the commissioner needs to take and we support the policy. It is important that players in violation of the policy will have the opportunity and the support to change their conduct and earn their way back." I won't bother trying to explain the privilege vs. right thing because it seems that both sides have their own opinions. I come down on the privilege thing and I think Upshaw's comments support that theory. If the union finds a particular case unfair they can still stand up for the player. So far they've agreed with commissioner.
  13. Not Skanky, Shanky. Ivory Snow Girl! 'Nuff said.
  14. Are you positive that's what it's supposed to be?
  15. I hate to put it this way but it's kind of like a testosterone laced soap opera.
  16. Lori, you never cease to amaze! From the article; “When the ball’s in the air, I can’t even put it in words, but it’s something that came easy to me,” Byrd said. “Some people struggle with it, but catching the ball is just really natural for me.” Maybe they'll use him on offense ala Deion Sanders. He has nowhere near the speed but it would make defenses think twice.
  17. Ya think! From what I hear she was a great golfer who rarely shanked.
  18. She's also so energetic and works hard to prove to the guys she's just as good as they are. I love it when she's putting on the chains that weigh more than she does. The first season was on one of the easiest ice roads. Season two was on the most difficult ice road and this season is on the most dangerous road. Very little of it is over ocean. This is the Alaska road that is supposedly the most dangerous road to run in the winter. There is one hill they go down that looks like the first hill of a roller coaster but they are doing it on ice with 50,000 pounds behind them. The show is character driven a lot too. They do tend to over dramatize things but there are more wrecks on this road than the other two roads combined. Fortunately, nobody has died yet and none of these accidents have involved any of the main personalities on the show. It's interesting. It takes a lot of BALLS to do this job and in fact it's very difficult to pass the test to do the job. Lisa is just a little firecracker and is the best personality the show has ever had IMO. They drive over a rollercoaster hill with 50,000 pounds of crap behind them on nothing but ice over the road. They also drive those loads on roads packed with ice that drive inches away from drops that are thousands of feet down and they pass each other on the roads with mere inches to spare. I highly doubt you could find the stones to do it or even ride along on a trip.
