  1. Falling for more Peta crapola I see. Gangsta Kitty loooovvveeessss sea kittens!!! Preferably fresh and flopping.
  2. The handoffs to Lynch are just plain smart at this point. They've got an offensive line that is really raw. Why put TE in danger during a completely meaningless game? Opening holes for the RB's is probably going to be what the offense does a lot early in the season and they need practice on that. TE has had time with his receivers in practice while being untouchable. The pass protection, I think, will be used more on Fitzpatrick and I'm hoping the starting O line plays the entire first half. No smart team tips their hand in pre-season. IMO, as soon as Maybin signs Baker will be let go to make room for him.
  3. It's not the Bills so much as Maybin's agent. Just about all of the guys on the Bills roster understand that he's just doing what he has to do. The Bills have a cap number left for Maybin's signing and so I don't think it's as much about money as it is guaranteed monies and contract length and other minutia. Remember this is a guy who hasn't played down 1 in the NFL and the Bills have to protect themselves in case Maybin busts and Maybin's agent needs to protect him. The delay has a lot to do with Crabtree's signing. If Maybin's agent refuses to talk until that contract is done then the Bills hands are tied.
  4. That alternate song err, Shout song sucked royal more than Camilla Parker Bowles.
  5. A team has a probowl QB on its roster and the new head coach tries to trade for a QB who's had one great starting year with an uber talented offense around him? WTF, how they can think it won't get out and it won't P.O. their QB to holy hell is beyond me. I love how they seemed to have a, just deal with it attitude about the situation. I wonder what McDaniels would think if he heard the team was trying to get another HC? From what I've heard Cutler wasn't the easiest to get along with. Supposedly he has an ego the size of Colorado but if he's a probowl QB you learn to work with him. I'm sure some HOF QB's were not the easiest people to deal with. There's a fine line between confident and cocky and I believe that he'll start to see the difference as he matures. JMO The Bears will be laughing about this for years to come and the Broncs will still be trying to find a replacement for him. Look at the number of high quality starters in this league and the number of busts taken in the drafts and it makes the situation that more laughable.
  6. You have a great point about Ray Lewis. I don't believe he killed anyone but I'm positive he knows who did and he's lying to protect them. That one is a double standard in my opinion. Ray Lewis' friends got into a fight with some guys who wouldn't walk away to diffuse the situation and some reports said they were the instigators. I think some people look at that and say that was a case of people acting stupidly on all counts but they all knew what they were getting into. I don't think there are too many people here who could say they've never driven drunk before. I'm pretty sure all of them had no intention of hurting someone. It's stupid and it's dangerous but I don't think it's done with murderous intentions. Edit: A lot of people remember his failure to advise sex partners he had an incurable sexually transmitted disease just so he could get his rocks off without using a condom. I think that adds into people's disgust with him too. Why is it that not a lot of black people are calling it a double standard. I'm sure there are some but they seem to be in the minority (no pun intended) on this issue. JMO You forgot drowning them. People, I think, look at this from a standpoint that dogs are only trying to please their masters and that trust is being greatly abused by dog fighters. Dogs are helpless in this regard. They do what they are trained to do. Also, when somebody is sick enough to do the things listed above it's a creepy statement about their state of mind. The dogs had to have been yelping during these tortures and anyone who can do those things while a dog cries out in pain is a really sick bastard. A lot of people own dogs and they visualize somebody doing things like that to their dog and it really angers them. They see their dog as pretty much helpless without their loving care and the dogs are both loyal and protective. It's a crime against the helpless that really bothers them. JMO
  7. Dat's da reason your friend Booster started this thread. It was to counteract the ravings of a madman. Not like Ozzy Osbourne but more like Ernest T. Bass. Anyhoo, dis is all love for you. and disdain for Deerball, but like you said what's new?

  10. I wonder how they sift through so many channels a day to find clips to use on that nights show. It's impressive.
  11. My sister lived in York and was the Garage Sale Queen. She knew everything in and out about garage sales.
  12. Not surprising. Fux Gnus has a long history of changing facts, transcripts and morals. Bill O'Reilly attributed the facts about Malmedy Massacre to the Americans shooting Nazis instead of the historical fact that the Malmedy Massacre was perpetrated by Nazis against Americans. After O'Reilly was called out by a viewer he denied what he said and changed what he actually said to something different. Fux Gnus later changed the transcript of his show to match his lie. They also label Republicans in hot water as Democrats. Also, Bill O'Reilly on Jamie Lynn Spears; "On the pinhead front, 16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant. The sister of Britney says she is shocked. I bet. Now most teens are pinheads in some ways. But here the blame falls primarily on the parents of the girl, who obviously have little control over her or even over Britney Spears. Look at the way she behaves. And by the way, the mother, Lynne Spears, has reportedly already sold pictures of the upcoming baby of her 16-year-old for a million bucks. Incredible pinhead." Bill O'Reilly on Bristol Palin; "Millions of families are dealing with teen pregnancy, and as long as society doesn't have to support the mother, father or baby, it is a personal matter. Some Americans will judge Governor Palin and her family, and she will have a hard time running for vice president if there is much more chaos. For the sake of her and her family, we hope things calm down. This country needs a vibrant policy debate, not a soap opera." IIRC, Sean Hannity did a 180 also. What he said! Unfortunately yes. I disagree. I think Nixon was more liberal than a middle of the road Republican today. Can you imagine him trying to create the EPA in this political climate? The Republican party, IMO, has been taken over by the religious right and if you aren't an ultra conservative then you're a liberal. What other thinking?
  13. Garage sale signs have to be taken down after the garage sale is over or the person can be fined. (At least that's the law in York Pennsylvania.) Bands can be fined as well but every one I've seen is taped up not a full sticky paper. Lost pets are something different. It's bad PR for the city to fine someone over that. They are also in windows with the permission of the business owner and I've never seen one that wasn't easily removable. Those examples don't cause permanent damage or excessive work to remove. Using a paper with a full sticky back is much harder to remove. If they were taped up and put there for a couple of weeks who cares, but making them permanent on private property is the same as graffiti IMO.
  14. At this point officials are not sure how much damage was caused by the signs or the dollar amount associated with the clean-up. I think that has something to do with it. Also, as KTFABD pointed out similar issues regarding Bush have been dealt with too. Wacko conservatives are using everything and anything to work against Obama like putting out lies about death panels. Very unsurprising.
  15. A bear and a rabbit are grunting one out on a log. The bear looks at the rabbit and says have you ever had a problem with sticking to your fur? The rabbit says no I can't say I ever have. So the bear wipes his A$$ with the rabbit. I know old joke, but a classic!
